Join me on a journey from Auckland to Kuala Lumpur on Malaysia Airlines' business class, where the crew outshines the aircraft!

In this video, we'll dive into my recent flight experience, which proved to be a mixed bag. Despite an outdated aircraft, the stellar service from the Malaysia Airlines crew truly made the journey memorable.

Travel with me as I explore the highs and lows of flying business class with Malaysia Airlines.

this is me finding my new best aviation reviewer! thanks for flying my national flag carrier! already subscribe and waiting for new videos..goodluck on your journey
  • Your comprehensive review is appreciated. The aircraft really does let down what is otherwise a very good experience with MAS.

Subscribed. Keep up the good work 👍🏻 👏
  • Glad you enjoyed the service provided by the crews. Also Malaysia Airlines is quickly wanting to remove their old A330-200 once they have the A330 neos cause their priority is to put the neos on the Aussie and NZ flight.

Lovely trip report! I agree with your verdicts 100%. Thankfully these old jets are on their way out, with the first Neo expected to arrive in the 3rd quarter of next year. Can't wait for them to replace these 332s.

Great video. You always manage to deliver a quirky funny style to every video. Missing out on satay and nasi lemak should entitle you to a refund. Thanks for the review.
  • Great trip report! FYI, the Strata lounge in Auclland is the old Air New Zealand lounge... Shame about the Satay, that's one of Malaysian's selling points
  • MH is improve anyways thanks to you .That is why name hospitality service like hospital.

Thank you for this comprehensive report on MA. We are thinking about flying them in May to London. Just did BA business over and first back which was great but was $15k each. At the moment MA doing LHR return for just under $7k each which is much more affordable (I’m talking about Sydney as the start city) I think you’ve convinced me to fly MA. Can’t justify BAs ridiculous prices again. Cheers.

A business class seat like that is almost similar to an econ seat with extra legroom
  • Nice report. Turbulence is such an unpredictable thing, it can spoil your trip. Toilet should have been clean though

The moving map not working and losing the location of the plane is not a great look for Malaysian Airlines 😬 Great review though. Helped me rule out Malaysian as a BC points option on One World for our trip later in the year. Their crew are always good in my experience too.

Nothing new, welcome to Malaysian Airlines. Sad but true !
  • Awesome video!!! If you can please help me answer some questions!! Was the whole trip from SYD-AKL-KUL on the same itinerary?? I have a similar trip coming up in business. 1.10am departure from Auckland but i reach aukland at 8pm. Wanted to know if i have to pass immigration and re checkin.

About the catering, Malaysia Airlines broke up with Brahim's catering just recently
  • It is not cheap flying business class from KL to Auckland vv. And everything looks so pathetic here, seats, meals etc. This is a long haul flight, they should fly this route with the A333 or A359. It's a disaster to watch. Anyway, thx and love all your videos! ❤️

the first meal should not even be served in economy i think..that is like a $2 roadside meal in Malaysia....MH has lots of potentials which they always failed to manipulate to their advantage example being the latest 737 max that they are getting are not equipped with seatback ptv in all cabins while SQ equipped theirs with latest generation lie-flat seats in business and similar latest products in economy..and these planes are supposed to fly longer i cant imagine flying for more than 3 hours without PTV nowadays
