  • Something about Charon in Greek canon just casually beating the shit outta people with a boat oar/pole is funny to me. Just oozes "I won't hesitate bitch" energy.

I like the idea that Charon can make his oar go into "scythe mode" in case he wants/needs to do some slicing.

Clearly Morphius said "It's morbin' time" and morbed all over the world

“And don’t tell me that can’t be used as a weapon cause he’s beat some ass with it” As someone who has completed Hades to 100% yes,Charon can and will beat your ass with an oar.

It's very good that you review God of war games with humor

"someone tell that lazy bum to get out here and be a parent" a phase that can truly be used for all the gods in greek mythology at least odin tried to parent loki and thor before going to sleep

I’ve always loved Hades and Persephone’s relationship in Greek Mythology mainly because they’re the only healthy couple in the entire Greek pantheon. Unless you’re going to talk about that one story with Minthe.
  • You should talk about every mythological inaccuracy in Dante's Inferno (The video game). It would be a lot of fun.
  • You could maybe argue that the artifacts Kratos gets in the game allow him to kill Charon and Persephone. But even that’s a BIG stretch!

16:00 I remember thinking this when I first played this game myself. Honestly, the bait and switch of Persephone being the antagonist disappointed me a lot with this game. Morpheus had been teased and built up the whole game and then it all just ended up being a giant anticlimax. Morpheus should have been the game's antagonist, and as you said, they could have done a lot with Morpheus taunting Kratos with his nightmares or tricking Kratos into thinking he could rid him of them, before trying to slay him. A lot of wasted opportunity there, sadly.
  • I mean, Kratos did use the Gauntlet of Zeus to kill Charon and Persephone, and the game did explain it was used by Zeus to chain all of the titans. So, maybe that was what gave Kratos the power to kill them.

The “they bleed red blood but are supposed to have golden ichor running through their veins” seems to be a running gag of these videos and I love it lol

Every new God of War review he does is a blessing and look forward to any new ones and imagine Mythology Guy review or react to Amonkhet art or lore cards
  • @jf_kein_k8590
Charon might have pretended to be dead so that Kratos stops beating him up.
  • 9:50 Another thing is that some mythology says Apollo or Helios sets down through the ocean into the underworld and travel in the underworl to return to the temple in the East (in order to explain the path of the sun)
