I’m guessing Heimdall is announcing because he can see all so he can see everything that happens accurately
-
The fact that you never mention Aphrodite at any point in the video makes me think it's 100% accurate that she always had a pair of manservants on-hand to carry around her massive boobs in Greek Myth.
-
Big props to the original Japanese dub, as Heimdall actually pronounces Heracles in the proper Greek form as well
-
I love that you make it clear that inaccuracies doesn’t mean bad. Especially in anime as it’s done on purpose sometimes
-
As much as I like Poseidon in this series, I find it odd that they didn't just use the Egyptian god Sett for this role. - Prideful King - Brother Killer - Feared By Many Would have helped to give the fights more variety instead of having 3 Greek gods in a row.
-
I like to imagine Able forgave Cain after they both ended up in the afterlife. "Hey sorry, Able, I didn't know you wouldn't wake up" "Ah it's cool. Shit happens"

Mythologyguy: I guess the bifrost isn’t in this show Nostradamus: 🤭

26:10 You got mixed up on this one, Sasaki was the one to have creation as his teacher, while Musashi was the one to walk the lonely road.
-
I loved that “His name is HERACLES” bit, it actually got a laugh out of me.
-
It was a real missed opportunity not making Loki the serpent that tricked Eve

I'm pretty sure the reason Posiedon never used his water powers was because of how arrogant the shows depiction of him is. Poseidon's fundamental ideology was that the gods were perfect and needn't change, he saw humans as lesser and thus never believed he could be defeated by one. Even to the end, he didnt want to really go all out because his pride was more important to him, and needing to use his full power against a lesser would certainly stain his pride. It can be seen even after Sasaki kills him, when he calls Sasaki a loser despite being dead.

The Hercules name is a dub thing. In Japanese, his name is shown as ヘラクレス, as seen in 27:31. It's read as Herakuresu, which, given the ambiguity of the pronunciation, it could either translate as Heracles or Hercules, but I'm leaning more toward Heracles.
-
One more thing regarding Shiva, His third eye was suppose to be closed all time. And he only opens it when he wants to do his tandava (dance) to destroy.
-
Fun fact, they call him Heracles in the manga, they changed it in the anime, probably because Hercules is a far more recognisable name

I thought it made sense that Poseidon would be an ill-tempered God considering that he was swallowed as a baby, got stuck with controlling the seas (a job he didn't want) and there's the whole thing with Odysseus. I always saw him as a God whose emotions really tie in with the element they control. Like the sea he can go from being calm and serene to stormy and harsh in minutes

Krsna wasn't necessarily "slain" by getting Overpowered by some Mortal Hunter. He had caused his one death aswell as death of his proud descendants. I would advise to read the story of Hunter Jara and Krsna. To maintain the Order of the curse Gandhari inflicted Krsna with, Krsna knowingly did it all. Everything in Sanatana Dharma has a predestined Order. Jara was incarnation of Bali, who Visnu slayed by shooting arrow, when he was in Rama avatar

One little detail about the serpent that I liked was the fact that Adam didn't kill him when he cut him up, but he made him loose his limbs to reflect the original fate of the serpent.

Do more inaccuracy of mythology related content. This was so entertaining and since this is a mush of all Mythology, I learned a lot more.

I love Record of Ragnarok and it’s creativity, but it has so many inaccuracies, and I was always thinking about you eventually doing an inaccuracy video on it.
