Payy you need Full hearts + See all of his heart events (aka "get to know him better") before proposing Pay! I think you need to consult the wiki just to get a check the missing ones. I mean just chucking gifts at someone until they're full of it and then shove a locket and then ring on them aren't the ways of love. You need c.h.e.m.i.s.t.r.y. How to tie someone down for life <3 = get full hearts to get "best friend" stage -> give em the locket to unlock the "boyfriend" stage + see all of their heart events(aka "get to know them better") -> PUT A RING ON IT I think that's all you should do, if I'm not mistaken.

I played an entire year in this game and only just now, watching this video, realized you can use your scythe to batch harvest crops. I've been doing it one by one for an entire YEAR
