I like how honest this guy is. When he does not have an answer he says he doesn't know. He does not assume anything
  • @ec6933
My favorite part of this car was the guy showing it. Lol he's not overdoing it, just straight forward no nonsense. The honesty is refreshing
  • @Ramblin_DMC
I'm an engineer at GM and I work on the LYRIQ among other programs too. Very cool to see it being reviewed now! I'm glad it's being well received.

I love how Jay features engineers instead of marketing people. Marketing people have their role but with respect, they all talk the same and use too many buzzwords. The engineer was genuine! This Cadillac looks great. Well done.
  • This guy is so authentic and did a great job presenting his work. Refreshing to get to hear from an actual engineer; let the marketing guys stick to their real-people ads and the giant doors..
  • @fitfogey
Genuine engineers don’t have the ability to lie or fluff anything. They say what they know, they tell the truth, or say they don’t know. I respect that so much.
  • I love how down to earth Jay is. We all know he's got an astounding amount of money and he could have easily been smug and said how cheap $60,000 is, but he's a man of the people and realizes that to us, the average Joe's working average jobs, 60 grand is a lot of money. I honestly do respect him.

Dude pulled through like a champ. You can tell he's under more stress than he's ever felt being there with Jay and crew. He's doing better than I would. I'd have seized up lol.
  • @mattuw82
This guy is easily my favorite guest Jay has had. He's very knowledgeable, but really humble and relatable. If Jay ever features any GM vehicles in the near future, he should invite this guy back.
  • @mark-
Nice to see an engineer showing the car he helped to make. and honest too like an an engineer usually is. 😊👍
  • @TalismanPHX
Jay is great. His comments reflect alot of typical Cadillac buyer.... interest in styling & materials quality, the library quiet, and the rolling smoothness.
  • One of the best conversations ever, GM sent the right guy for the demo. I hope he got lots of pictures and an autograph for his son. I think Cadillac has a winner here. As ever Thanks Jay 😊
  • This is the best plug GM could get for its first compelling BEV. And deserved, IMO.
  • @Attila_P
I think Jay speaks the best english in the World. Very understandable, smooth, calm talking. I learned a lot from him when I learned the language watching many Tonight Shows in the 90's. Very nice car! Greetings from Hungary!
  • I love that they included a dedicated stop for the cargo cover under the rear floormat! It's a small touch but it really exemplifies the level of engineering Cadillac put into this car.
  • @fitter70
This guy did an excellent job as a presenter. He is very knowledgeable and humble. Some of the marketing guys especially from Dodge I just want to slap.
  • @Arthurk346
I enjoyed listening to this guy's speech. He was so polite and honest
  • I never thought I would be surprised about the price of a new Cadillac but this seems like a lot of bang for the buck.
