Children are not prepared to deal with parents mental problems. I'm 72 now, but I still have haunting memories of the abuse my vain drunken mother put me through until I was removed from her at age 7. Complex Ptsd is a real drag to have. At least the therapist & drs are now understanding it and helping young people understand themselves and their emotions.

I had a professor who was 73. She embarrassed and usually had a bad attitude with this one student who was 21. Why? Because a week prior she had heard that this guy had been sexually abusing people since he was 16. It was bad for her because she herself was sexually assaulted by a 15 year old back in in 1980 back when she was was in her 30s. She hates the topic and hates anyone who does sexual abuse because not only does it bring her flashbacks but the 15 year old was never caught and everyone didn’t take her seriously because they didn’t think a 15 year old was capable of doing such a thing.

"Wouldnt you do the same thing for your son?" I don't know why she was charged with murdering that religious zealot. That psycho ABUSED her grandchild and tried to castrate him, it's not like she wasn't asking to be set on fire. At best she acted in self-defence for her son's life.
  • Is it just me or does anybody else think from mom actually did kind of a badass job. Like she had to leave home, survived that, had a kid, and she was forced to leave him. And to turn around and reek vengeance on the woman that tortured her son and then on the second woman who tortured her son after being abused herself in so many ways? honestly, I don’t blame her.

this ended in the weird way who was telling the truth, is horrified at the accusation. At her suggestion, the team has Huang talk to Robert to try to get him to confess to his mother's murder. Huang gets him to reveal that his sister, who was imprisoned for assaulting Doctor Heints (she believed Heints was raping Robert) is the killer. When the detectives confront her she confesses, telling them that when she was fourteen she got pregnant and her mother took the baby from her and kicked her out. After learning how her mother treated Robert, she killed her to protect him as Robert isn't her brother, he's her son who her mother took from her.
  • Can I just say thank you to this channel for giving me something to binge!

Idk why but i was expecting a full tackle when the dude got up to the witness stand. Real life I don't think bailiff and cops would be so gentle in removing him from the court.
  • BD Wong and the actor who played Robert in that scene were PHENOMENAL!!!!

Why would the bayliff let him get that close to her

To be fair, that psychiatrist clearly cared for Robert's well being. As soon as she knew the method she'd been using was wrong, she immediately took steps to try and correct the problem by urging them to get him help. Not to mention immediately excluding herself, since as she said, she's the worst option now with Robert's current state of mind. Even now, she's acting in the best interests of the patient.
