Fun Fact: Fredbear plushie model was made by Emil Macko also known as the creator of FNAC
  • @brionybrett5997
Who here ACTUALLY thought the plushtrap one looked really cool?
  • @doewoods
Designer: Hey everyone! This is my design that I worked very hard on! Funko: You mean, OUR design?
  • Actually, they did talk to the artists. I watched a video about it, by both of the creators talking about their designs being taken by funko. But they were okay with it, and we're fine with everything that Funko had done with the money. They just want the model to be successful. Which is sad they're giving Funko money for popularity. Edit : seeing as the creator of FNAC was working with Scott cawthon, I can see now that I was correct in this comment. Scott is paying them to work on their game even more, unlike Nintendo which just beats the fan games to smithereens. Mad respect Scott

Funko: hippity hoppity your design is now our property

After editing, I was found out that the Fredbear Plush model was made by Emil Macko, the creator of Five Nights at Candy's! Foxy plush was created by Spygineer. Still waiting to hear if they were ever contacted.

I feel like I recognize the Foxy plush design more exactly from something else. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the second I saw it, I had an undeniable feeling I had seen the exact design and pose before. Bus, since this video is a few years old, it's possible that I've just seen these figures before.

Funniest part is the stolen designs being arguably better than the original ones, I wish the creators had the means to make their own models- or even plushes with those designs! I'd buy them in a heartbeat!

    Funko : * makes their own model * Everyone : * hates it * Funko : * copies models * Everyone : * Complains *

Scott : the fnaf movie is still a thing Me : so when is it coming out... Scott : it’s coming out in 2027
  • No one: Funko: We’re going to print on everything, use cheaper fabric, reuse bases, and steal designs.
  • @WAFFLEFIGHT
It's not really too hard to believe that they mistook it for an actual official model that's Scott used. I mean heck, I also thought it was in game. And also considering how widely used this model is...yeah.

Fredbear's plushie figure model was made by Emil Mack (Creator of Five Night's at Candy's). And the Foxy plushie figure model was made by an artist called Spygineer. It's unclear that Funko has ever asked permission from either of them, but that shouldn't be their fault since most of the companies that work for Scott just tend to google search and pick designs without checking it's originalities.

To this day I'll never understand how Funko thought they'd get away with stealing an extremely popular Fredbear Plush model let alone one made by an incredibly popular face in the FNaF community
  • @ever3tt_
Interseting Fact: Technically because of the FNAF fan-verse being an official FNAF extension product the copyright and trademarks do make the fredbear plushie not theft of property “anymore”, keyword, “anymore”, these vinyls were released prior to the fan-verse as for foxy, there is no excuse.
  • @snekdrek
“When I found out the FNAF movie was still a thing” 4 Years Ago ……oh dear.
