  • You would've thought that Rashford would've improved his finishing with all his free time this summer.
  • Haaland hasn’t scored in four finals, but he bleeped on about the Community Shield being a friendly

Hard to believe that Gabe is only 51 - looks like he is closer to 70

Media looking for a new winner of the league every start of the season, in the end City wins again and congratulations to them🎉

These guys didn’t even talk about the game. Is it because United played better than city?
  • @uezljeys
And not a single word on how United played the match and taking the game to City...
  • Death taxes and Erling Haaland ghosting in big games are 3 common things that often go together in football. At Manchester City, he has 0 goals and 0 assists in finals and semifinals and with the amount of stinkers that he has dropped in big matches, for the team assuming they’re not winning those games, it’s an absolute concern and this is a problem that can no longer be ignored. People are going to say “oh he scored a brace against Leipzig in the DFK Pokal”, good for him, but unfortunately nobody cares no offense. For someone who’s supposed to be the best striker in the world and is could potentially win a Ballon Dor, that’s a worrying record and it’s not just his lack of goals and assists in those sort of games, sometimes he barely touches the ball or has a shot on target. He has a prolific record against Manchester United as he has scored 6 goals in 4 games against them in the Premier League, but he had little to no impact against them in both FA Cup finals and the Community Shield and overall he doesn’t have a great track record in big games against superior opponents. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, even though he’s going to continue scoring goals at a staggering rate which is the job of a striker, the limitations that Haaland has in his game are regularly being exposed and as a result of that, it’s very obvious to me that he can never truly be seen as the best footballer in the world, he’s only the best striker in the world as he’s only a good goalscorer, yet people are acting as if he’s more than that. He doesn’t need to add other facets of his game, his all around play is shocking, he’s not the best at holding the ball up as he has loose touches and passes and he doesn’t do a lot in the buildup play since he needs his teammates to feed him the ball as he doesn’t create opportunities for himself. The last 2 times he struggled in the Community Shield in 2022 and 2023, he was banging in good left right and center and he’s going to do more of the same this season and win his 3rd consecutive Golden Boot in the premier league as he’s won 2 of them in his first 2 years in England and he’s 24 years old. As bad as his linkup play is, he’s an elite striker when he’s winning the Golden Boot every season, I agree with people who think that he needs to do better in big games. There’s a lot of games where Haaland doesn’t touch the ball for 90 minutes, he scores a hat trick in that same game and he’s seen as a Ballon Dor contender and I’m telling you, if he wins a Ballon Dor which it’s likely to happen, it’s a sign that football fell off, because Erling Haaland is just a good goalscorer, he’s never the best footballer in the world.
  • Ederson can’t take penalties cus if the ball goes back to action he’ll be missing at the post ?😅
  • @bismarkoduro624
I believe we have coaches here who wants to coach United when Ten Hag leaves.
  • @mazyma
Thee guys are spending 20 minutes talking about a penalty kick for a community game! It's okay guys premier League is back next week, hold your horses.
  • The fact that Haaland has ghosted in multiple big games and we could see him touching a Ballon Dor, it’s a sign that football is finished.

I am going through a break up now. ESPN fc always keeps me going!!
  • @oooahhcantona
ESPN = clearly not the worldwide leader in thoughtful questions. How is ESPN FC so rubbish compared to NFL Live, Baseball Tonight, etc?
  • @DmizzMOB
What kind of dead questions are these lmaooo why did I even expect better is the real question.
