I’m honestly really excited to see what psg do this year. It looks like they finally have a good coach and they are moving in the right direction. They are signing some really talented youngsters.

Is it just me or does Stevie always try to down play Gab and say the opposite all the time?

Stevie is such a clown, Slot is completely different than what Klopp done, firstly we use the midfield instead of bypassing it completely like we did with Klopp, secondly we are completely possesion based and only press occasionally, how can he not see that. Honestly it’s like he doesn’t watch football.

Stevie, the question says "In their prime". Suarez arguably had the single greatest season in Premier league history.
  • Marseille will be an interesting team to watch. Alot of new players and new manager in De Zerbi

Gotta be PSG, Osimhen or not. Dembele, Hakimi, Donnarumma, Kang and Beraldo as a young midfield.
  • I have massive respect for Karim Benzema as he’s an excellent player, but the reason why he’s perceived much higher than what he should be is because of a combination of recency bias and people basing a player’s individual ability off of team achievements and individual awards. I’m not taking anything away from Benzema did individually because he’s an elite striker who was playing at the highest level for so long, I mean an average player doesn’t stay at a demanding club like Real Madrid for 15 years yet people say that he’s a one season wonder and his peak lasted for 2 years, anyways, he was 1st in assists, 2nd in goals all time, he accumulated a lot of trophies, he’s a 5time champions league winner he also has a Ballon Dor to his name and he is the 4th highest scorer in the history of the champions league, he performed well no matter who the manager was as they always trusted him and he delivered, he has an impressive resume and he was at his absolute best once he became their main man after getting out of Cristiano Ronaldo’s shadow (they joined the club in the same transfer window in 2009), and while he was exiled from the France national team for 6 years and missed out on their World Cup winning run in 2018, he’s had a brilliant career overall. I’m hearing a lot of people say that he’s the greatest striker of our generation and apparently because of his Ballon Dor win, “he’s better than Robert Lewandowski, Luis Suarez, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Samuel Eto’o, David Villa etc and other legendary strikers). People forget that there was a period in Benzema’s career at Real Madrid when he was missing big chances and was out of form, there were a certain section of fans who believed that he wasn’t good enough to be their starting striker as they wanted him sold as every summer they were linked with a number 9 to replace him. He was phenomenal in the 2021-22 season where he was in the form of his career and had that ridiculous run of performances in the latter stages of the champions league knockout stages and he was the best player in the world and deserved to win the Ballon Dor, people forget that Benzema was in his prime during a time where Messi and Ronaldo were on the decline, I mean in 2024, we’re about to see Vini touch a Ballon Dor over someone like Neymar. As I said, he’s an incredible striker, but I never thought that we compare players solely off of team trophies and individual awards and that’s just Madrid PR for you. Off the top of my head, without mentioning the Ballon Dor or his team achievements, individually there are many strikers that are better than Karim Benzema and it’s not even close and you say 0 ball knowledge all you want and while accolades and trophies are important, you can’t compare players off of that without any context.

Europeans with no AC is wild. Doesnt it get to 80+ degrees over there? I couldnt imagine not having AC when it gets that hot.
