Maybe all the grease in the kitchen preserved the machine, but soap and water and skill brought it back to life

Love seeing old electronics restored. I use a very custom stripped down version of Windows on a really old machine as a home file server to access family photos and videos from my phone

very nice restoration, this Is true passion for computers 😃

Easy to tell that it's a Japanese computer as it runs at 100V mains.
  • Excellent job! This is a Tualatin platform with a Celeron processor. These Tualatin were better than the first P-4 for same or superior frequency. My 1400-S works like a P-4 2200, being cooler and more power efficient.

I love Windows XP then what you installed.

13:21 bruh how this pc still run after you put the psu in water???????????????
  • Outstanding work and well worth the effort. I was amazed at the transformation of the pc and the end result was fantastic.
  • You are a very good restorative person. I am also interested in computers 6 years ago and I started as a hobby and am studying to restore and update my laptop to a normal computer, but I am good at it, but I look forward to receiving a lot of attention.

I have a feeling it won't support windows 10, but at least get more ram and maybe swap that hdd for a compact flash (with IDE adapter).
  • nec must be a good company i own a nec mate computer and it runs good for how old it is

Love your work and the background noises are tranquilizing.

Amazing job… I’m just curious how long did that actually take? Drying of the PSU Alone was probably a few days

8:30 Ahh, the times when Intel processors were also produced here. Actually we still have Samsung, Toshiba and formerly, Sony still producing their components here. Samsung still produces RAM sticks here, Toshiba produces hard disks here, and back in the day, Sony produces floppy drives here. Same with Teac (though this one is made in Indonesia)
