Avicii x A R I Z O N A - "Hold The Line" available now: lnk.to/TIMAlbum
Official Website: www.thisisarizonamusic.com/

Recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, TN

“We don’t get to die young / trouble keeping our heads sometimes / we just have to push on / we don’t get to give up this life / all the breath in your lungs / is stronger than the tears in your eyes / it’s do or die, but we’re alive / so while we’re here, we’ll hold the line”⁣

When we wrote that chorus we had no idea what it would become or what kind of new meanings it would take on. We hadn’t even known that Avicii heard the song, let alone that one day it would play such a role as this. We only wrote about life, and the struggles we all face to keep it together in our darkest hours. Not until months after Tim passed had we learned that he had been working on his own version of “Hold The Line”. As we finally heard the demo he had left behind, it was a surreal experience - almost as if he was there with us that day in the studio. I imagine it requires no explanation, the weight this song has since taken on for us. We’ve only to say that we are incredibly humbled, and honored, to be included amongst his final collaborators. Our only wish for this song now is that it finds you when you need it most, and that it honors not just Tim’s memory, but the memory of all of the many friends and family we’ve all lost. If you are struggling, you are not alone. It’s okay to be not okay. Stay strong, and hold the line.⁣

We love you!⁣

This one’s for you Tim!⁣

Mad Love⁣
-A R I Z O N A

LYRICS:
crossbows and arrows
the smoke in the shadows
you’ll lose your mind
standing on the battle line
starting to choke on your heart in your throat
and it feels just like you can’t remember how to fight

we’ll crack before we shatter
we can’t fall apart

we don’t get to die young
trouble keeping our head sometimes
we just have to push on
we don’t get to give up this life
all the breath in your lungs
is stronger than the tears in your eyes
it’s do or die
but we’re alive
and while we’re here, we’ll hold the line

we’ll hold the line

don’t hold your hands up
it’s your final stand
put your white flag down
oh don’t you surrender now
no hero’s story
there’s no blaze of glory
but dawn only comes at the end of the night
we’ll crack before we shatter
we can’t fall apart

oh oh oh

we don’t get to die young
trouble keeping our head sometimes
we just have to push on
we don’t get to give up this life
all the breath in your lungs
is stronger than the tears in your eyes
it’s do or die
but we’re alive
and while we’re here, we’ll hold the line

hold the line

we don’t get to die young
we just have to push on
we don’t get to die young

we’ll hold the line

With over a billion worldwide streams and counting, A R I Z O N A has proven a true planetary phenomenon, creating worldwide waves with their ingenious brand of contemporary electronic dance pop.

Fusing groundbreaking pop technique with creative visual design and uncommon textural depth, their sophomore album ASYLUM sees A R I Z O N A driving their signature approach to remarkable new heights. Multi-faceted tracks such as “Problems” and “Still Alive” reveal a profound and powerful sense of community, fueled in part by the band’s exploration of their own interpersonal relationship.

The trio first came together at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music, their shared interests in production and songwriting uniting them as much as their mutual New Jersey heritage. Songs like “Where I Wanna Be“ soon drew millions of multi-platform streams as well as a fervent online following from London to Los Angeles, Stockholm to Singapore. Signed to Atlantic/APG in 2015, GALLERY proved among 2017’s biggest global releases, now boasting over 750 million worldwide streams. The album showcases a stunning collection of hit singles, among them “Electric Touch,” “I Was Wrong,” and the RIAA gold certified “Oceans Away.”

2018 saw A R I Z O N A return with a string of new singles and remixes, including “What She Wants,” and the double-A sided “Summer Days“ and “Freaking Out.”

A R I Z O N A have spent much of past few years on the road, including a sold out series of increasingly larger headline tours – the first of which completely sold-out three months in advance, with some shows selling out within minutes of going on sale – as well as a North American arena tour supporting Panic! At The Disco, and spectacularly well-received festival sets at such gatherings as Lollapalooza, Music Midtown, ACL, Bunbury, Bonnaroo, Hangout Music Fest, BottleRock Napa Valley, Firefly, Budweiser Made In America Festival, and Governors Ball, to name but a few. Perhaps FORBES said it best: “If you haven’t seen A R I Z O N A, you’re missing out.”

  • Best line : All the breath in your lungs is stronger than the tears in your eyes ❤️💪💪💪💪
  • Tim, thank you. Your music probably saved my life. I won't go into details but it was a suicide attempt. When I was stressed out, I would listen to Tim's songs to calm down. These last songs have been the best that Tim ever made. Thank you A R I Z O N A for the track. The line "we don't get to die young" broke my heart and reminded me of the times I had tried to kill myself. Reminds me that I am worth living. Reminds me of Tim. I'll be at your show in Denver and would really love to hear this live. If you see a hand out in the crowd with a ◢◤ tattoo on their wrist, that's me. Thank you A R I Z O N A and thank you so much Tim for all the amazing songs you have created.

  • I’m sitting here at the hospital, while my grandmother is fighting for her life. She is in a coma. We haven’t left her side. Talking to her, kissing her and begging her to wake up and recover. She always loved music so we play things for her to listen to in hopes that it will speed up her recovery. It’s 4am my time, in Johannesburg, South Africa. I go onto YouTube to play her a song and this was the first thing on my screen when I opened the app. Every bit of your lyrics relates so powerfully to what is happening right now. I have loved your music for years now. But this is truly the most beautiful song in my heart now. I will play it every day, multiple times a day for her to listen to. And I pray, I pray she hears it and it gives her the strength to survive and wake up. I wish you guys the best future ahead. Please always stay true to yourselves and the beautiful, unique, deep and loving music that you create. All my love, Cleopatra (My grandmother would send her love too, if she could, her name is also Cleopatra
