The funny thing is that the main reason I bought a ps5 was to play astros playroom

  • I think it would be sick if there was a duelogy or Idk what itā€™s kind but like if PlayStation had two mascots. They would have Astro-bot and then they could have Sackboy. I think these two have everything it takes and just need to be built upon. And what would be cool is if they were complimentary to one another. Like they both still got their own games. With a Little Big Planet to each console generation, and a BIG Astro-Bot Game to each generation. And then each generation would have at least one spinoff game that would be evenly dispersed between the two. And these wouldnā€™t even be guaranteed spin-offs. Just like think of Sackboy: A big Adventure or give the fans something small but something sweet, justify a DLC the size of Astroā€™s Playroom as a spin-off game because it massively changes up the gameplay loop. And the most important part is that when they each get their big title these are big! Iā€™m saying like what if Little Big Planet had certain sections where it departed into 3rd dimensional movement and Astro-Bot had the opposite with 2D movement outside of with a gimmicky costume. But then once per console generation, yknow better yet once every other console generation is a duo game. These games would be so cool to see Sackboy and his buddies(from LBP3) team up with Astro-Bot! And if these games are draining for the studios then you could just port the last generationā€™s Big Astro-Bot and Sackboy games to the current console so itā€™s kind of a one on and off where one generation we have both getting their own games and a port of the duo game and then the next generation itā€™s a port of their individual games and then a brand new huge duo game! Ports could range between massive changes and graphical enhancements and beautifully crafted new modes and worlds, including new character skins or something, having their own hype or they could just kind of be silently placed on the console, only an upscaled resolution and enhanced framerate and itā€™s just to give the fans something while they wait and when they get it they arenā€™t disappointed they are just hyped up for the new games to come after it! I think throwing these 1.5 avg big games, 2 ports, 1.5 spin-offs/experimental games, and then the occasional remake of a loved game from many generations ago to replace one of these categories as with many new games hopefully the fan base will love them, but yeah you take all that and thatā€™s how much you get per console generation for these two characters. Not cutting Horizon or God of War short of its titles just throwing this in the mix with them. Also pretty much all spin-offs would support the previous console generation even if the spinoff is late in the consoleā€™s lifecycle and the big 3 game types are guaranteed to be next gen only which is good because of the ā€˜PS5 Has No Gamesā€™ memes. But this would do great because while I say the spin-offs are experimental all of these would be experimental. We can still have those 3D open world games sot out through God of War, Horizon, Spider-Man, TLOU, e.t.c. and these are all massive games or ports, no in between. Limiting the amount of games to just one a generation and for like The Last of Us even more sparse than that and having to use ports to stay alive. I think this is the best way to it. Guarantee each of these are quality games and the new $80 price tag (thatā€™s for PS6) wouldnā€™t seem crazy because we just got attacked with $70 but instead would have people all saying ā€œHey I paid $140 total for two games from this character on last generation and I only paid $80 this time around and this game gave me more fun and I had guaranteed satisfactoryā€ and then we would have the Astro and Sackboy games which of course they couldnā€™t tackle everything out in the world but they sure could do a lot. Puzzle games, phone games, and even clicker games! The other games are hyped up because they are massive titles, many of these games such as the collaborative games would still be massive titles. And yet, they are more budget oriented. They are also hyped up because hey you can get it too! They are hyped because ā€œI bought the physical edition because this game is already so affordable and I loved the digital releaseā€. And ā€œIā€™m gonna buy the collectorā€™s edition bundle pack thing because I got the game for such an affordable price and Iā€™m the type of guy who doesnā€™t enjoy these open world games near as much as I enjoyed thisā€. But they throw the big three games of Sackboy, Astro, and Collab(this is just for PS6 prices are subject to change ofc)for $60 each opposed to the normal $80. A pretty great budget to have it lower than PS5 AAA Games. And then spin-offs would be down to as cheap as $20! Like the standard would be going for $30 or going for $20. And then mobile games are free with you being able to pay to get stuff you have to grind for and there is like one purchase that you canā€™t grind for but thatā€™s pretty standard just less focus on a bunch of things you must buy. This would just be so cool. And as you probably already know all this support and availability would be great because you can advertise the consoles through Astro and Sackboy and advertise Sackboy and Astro through the consoles! At least thatā€™s whatā€™s capable if they were to become icons. Thatā€™s the end of my schpeal(I no know how spell)but since Iā€™m already yapping Ima bring up a cool game idea. Imagine like a Sackboy or Astro game where itā€™s like pretty much a mix of club Penguin, Miiverse, Wii Sports Resort, and well, Sackboy. Thereā€™s like a town and there are private and public lobbies of up to like 64 players! You just get to explore the place, have fun, and maybe a little bit of progression. Just hyping up a huge open game where you can literally play sports and do so many activities. Itā€™s accessible globally but also locally with 4 player splitscreen where you can go off and do whatever you please or all work together and do some pretty sweet stuff. Sackboy would do well because of customization and having the different character shapes(LBP3) would make it so you guys are like picking characters who work well together. But Astro-Bot is just as customizable we just havenā€™t really seen it yet but I can tell by the seeing the cameo character costumes. Or better yet, have this game use both Bots and Sacks somehow! Maybe with Astro-Bot just being that fifth dynamic. Like four different sacks and then Astro who is so different and varying there is only one of him. And if they made this game only $40 instead of $60, oh it would be crazy! And what would really blow everyoneā€™s minds is if the game was tie in with the console. This could build up so much hype for. A new generation and kick it off with so much support as everyone is buying a PlayStation to go play that game that is all of YouTube, all your friends are playing, and you literally see on billboards! And if they continued to bundle it with the console and it was pretty much the same game forever just with more and more polish most importantly but then an expanded upon map to become even more immersive. Would be dope. The end,
