I remember watching this live and I remember the relief I was feeling when the commentator said "there through there through". Definatly one of the greatest moments of beijing 2008 for me.

Just seeing this now...years later..watched it live at the time. The commentary was by Gary Herbert, Olympic Gold Coxwain in Coxed Pair with Searle Brothers, my heroes as a young rower...absolutely fantastic by Tridges-Hodge and the lads💪💪

I remember that moment live on TV, literally wanting to stand up and shout at the TV. As sad as it sounds I did it anyways. They had the hopes of a nation hanging on their shoulders and they didn't let us down. The commentator shouting the British are Coming just proves how much it meant to him, let alone team GB. Poetry in motion!

I tell you what... When this was live I had tingles running up and down my spine. Watching this (with addition of the music) and regardless how many times I watch it - I still get those tingles.

Garry Herbert - he was the cox for Johnny & Greg Searle when they won in Barcelona 92. Best commentator in sport.
