Words cant describe how sick I am with nostalgia. Rowing will forever be my favourite sport, I will never forget how much I loved being part of it. Good luck to all rowers.

As a former rower, I am totally stunned by this video. (As a T-Mobile customer, I facepalm.)

Rowing is the most underrated competition sport at the moment... I don't know any other sport where I had such an awesome teamfeeling on my way to the limit... it's just incredible how everyone gets motivated again on the last 200m even if the 1800 before were hell
  • @DyeHawk
look how clean those catches were
  • @penguin163

  • @JinXedGirl13
OMG! PINK EVERYTHING... It's like leander but much much cooler! It had to be said.

@strokeseat1 Their socks look like shoes! We don't wear our socks out when we walk the boat to the water. We keep them in our pockets so they don't get full of sand or dirt. This is the first time I have seen this. Thank you for pointing it out! Even at that, our cox's don't wear shoes either - Just life in California I guess!

It's a repainted Empacher and the German men actually rowed it at the Olympics when the Telekom was still their sponsor. You can row it now as one of the clubs where the German eight trains owns it and now uses it for practice and other races. :)

i love this video!! and i love the music... and since when does anyone push off the dock using hands??? we only push off with feet like these guys...
  • @robotminione
it totally depends on the club/school which you learn first. Some focus only on sculling, but on the other hand, it's not unheard-of for kids to have rowed for 2 or 3 years and not know how to scull. In my experience, except at sculling-focused organizations, it's actually more common to start with sweep rowing.

absolutely a great commercial. Still waiting for HQ-version, or maybe HD?
