Pixar Lamp got an upgrade
-
Notice how the arms are identical rather than mirrored left-right? That's a nice touch for cost and ease of manufacture.
-
It’s so fascinating how we’re recreating the animatrix/matrix movies in real time. Because THIS TIME it will be different
-
Danger, Will Robinson.
-
Video ends with robot walking towards hockey stick.
-
Straight out of Black Mirror. Imagine that "get up" scene in a horror movie. .... RUN
-
This makes 'Tesla Bot' looks like a toy
-
Thanks for sharing the era of not being hunted by killer robots with me, everyone. Sad to see it end so soon.
-
Why pay $10k for full self driving, if you can buy a robot for $25k that can drive you like a chauffeur, give you a massage, make your bed, fix your house, clean your room.....................
-
So they saw the assassin droids from star wars and went "yeah that's a good idea."
-
This is, without question, one of the most unsettling things I've ever seen. It's as cool as it is terrifying.
-
Lay observation: The all electric feature is what makes the reversibility of limbs, torso, head, feet and hands possible. It would probably be impossible to reverse appendages with hydraulics. The lines would get twisted.
-
Boston Dynamics continues to push new boundaries of robot athleticism and creepiness.
-
Terminator with Pixar lamp😂. It's just like Skynet. There's Drones, Dogs, 2.0 Humanoid and Ai is on it's way. When will judgement day happening ?
-
Fascinating after all this time being passed by other players in the field they finally decided to give it another shot and play catch up.
-
We are building them because an aging society isn't going to have enough people to help the elderly and disabled who need help. Plus, there are lonely people who want companions; the list is really endless. And now, with AI getting close to AGI, it's the time. Great video Matt

Its not that they went "futuristic with the design". That's the only design it can have to achieve that. WE ARE IN THE FUTURE. LOL BTW; If they take the best of the hydraulic atlas and make a hybrid electric one. Holy shit..

People take out car loans for $30k or more. They won’t hesitate to take out a loan for a robot that can mow, read bedtime stories, provide a security patrol around the home, prepare meals, vacuum and clean, take the trash to the curb, play Dungeons and Dragons, do landscaping, pick grandma up and put her back into bed, take your blood pressure and provide first aid, change the oil in your car, watch your kids while they’re playing in the backyard, walk your dogs, help run your business, etc. I mean heck, the money they will save families on nursing homes alone will easily justify the investment.
-
Any sergeant will love this new Atlas: no soldier is capable of such perfect turnarounds.

How SHOCKING!!!! I’m definitely SHOCKED!
