Frontman and lyricist Ben Ward says “It’s basically saying that life can be pretty simple and straightforward if you just stop wasting your time and make each day count. Be prepared to work hard, don’t expect any hand outs and basically enjoy yourself along the way. When Chris came up with the music he said it needed something that could be delivered in a Bon Scott / Lemmy style and I think it came out really well”.

This long-running Stoner Metal band had, along with Stoner Metal in general, completely passed me by until 2022 when I had my gall bladder removed. One of the male nurses happened to be a Stoner (there's a gag in there somewhere - gallstones - Stoner) and introduced me to the classic SLEEP'S HOLY MOUNTAIN album. He also mentioned this band but this is the first song I've actually heard, so they are completely new to my ear. I totally love this heads-down no-frills no headbanger and the Rickenbacker-style bass solo was a highlight in this generally fabulous track with great lyrics, strong production and no-frills "let's get on with it" arrangements. I loved it immediately and will definitely be checking out their back catalogue on the strength of it. My Score: Excellent 5*
