“Jim, let me tell you somethin’: there’s gonna be a whole bunch of things we don’t tell Mrs. Clinton.” And they made that joke in 1992 !

My husband still says “intercepted by a warlord “ when he sneaks food off of my plate. 😂

Hartman is a legend, he didn't deserve such a cruel fate.

Rob Schneider calmly saves Phil Hartman in this hilarious skit.

"...There's gonna be a whole bunch of things we don't tell Mrs Clinton". As soon as I heard that I clicked the video's thumbs up

Some people are literally irreplaceable and PHIL HARTMAN was that man.
  • @AlfBsure
Can we just appreciate the talent in the skit, please? Chris Rock, Chris Farley, Tom Arnold, Kevin Nealon, Rob Schneider and the great Phil Hartman! Just wow!
  • This skit is one of the funniest SNL has ever done, The "Intercepted by Warlords" is classic
  • @evrbody
I love how when Phil breaks down, Rob just hands him a drink and the sketch keeps rolling. Some real pros during this era of the show.

"Jim, let me tell you something: There's going to be a WHOLE bunch of things we don't tell Mrs. Clinton." (0:34) One of the best lines from an SNL political skit!
  • @BigScalyBird
Rob Schneider assisting with soda and napkin when Phil Hartman was about to choke or break 😂

Rob Schneider handing Phil Hartman a beverage was such legendary improv

People don't realize how difficult it is to do what Phil Hartman was doing. Constantly shoving food in his mouth, eating while at the same time reading his lines & staying in character while not gagging on the food as he was barely drinking any water (or whatever) to help wash it down. There will never be another one like Phil Hartman.
  • @Audioholics
Literally one of the best skits in SNL history.
  • No man, woman, or child could ever out-act or out-funny Mr. Phil Hartman. That man was incredible. Rest In Peace Funny Man.
  • @davajita
It is absolutely BONKERS how professional everyone was in this sketch. I feel like the modern SNL cast would have broken character and fell down laughing at least 3-4 times, especially when Hartman can't talk from his mouth being so full of food in the 'warlords' segment. Pure brilliance.

I saw this live when I was about 23. Now I use "intercepted by warlords" when I partake in my kids' Halloween candy.
  • @user-zd9yn5mz1f
The genius of the late, great Phil Hartman. He doesn't skip a beat throughout, and narrowly avoids choking at the end.
  • @KoRnBaL19
"You mind if I wash it down?" "Warlord!" "Just pour it on there" Funkin' tearing in laughter!😂
