This also pretty sad when you remember that Ray and Maya were gone for basically most of their lives/childhood, back when they needed the help, love and support of knowing an adult is actually there for them when they have issues

I think the reason why she looks different from the flashbacks is that she gained a bit of weight.

Shouldnāt they have visited them already? Nya still has problem with her element, and doesnāt have the length of trainingā¦and Wu can only teach so much. Wouldnāt she have benefited from extra training from her mother, who mastered this? I get why their dad didnāt, Kai likely surpasses him already
