Time to get creative in Illustrator. Today we are creating some vector halftones, Yup Vector halftones to scale up, down, left, right and make bland design looks awesome. If your looking to give your design a little edge, give vector halftones a go. The great thing about Vector halftones is that even if you don’t have a screen printing RIP you can create these no rip halftones and print them out with the need for a RIP. Isn’t that awesome!

I am really glad I stumbled upon your channel, this process is much easier and practical for doing tones! Thank you!

Dang, that worked a whole lot better than make gradient box, effect/pixellate/color halftone, and image trace. Thanks for that.
  • Awesome! This was super helpful and will save me lots of time creating patters too... Yay!

Did not understand from 6:44. From where the yellow came? Not working in my file in the same way.

FOR EVERYONE that has the problem of "The filter produced no results. Select two overlapping paths," I think I found solution!!! Try THIS: Select all of the dots that were made Go to Object>Compound Path>Make THEN, try selecting your shape plus the dots, then Intersect. That might work! It worked for me. Hope this helps!
