as a foreigner that lived and worked in the Philippines, I always have this saying: You come to the Philippines for the weather for the beaches, you stay for the people.
  • I 'm here in NZ and my British boss and few of my Kiwi and French friends when they first visited the Philippines they were amazed with Manila and Cebu they thought differently but seeing those modern high-rise buildings and huge malls they were impressed. They just think of Philippines with those white sand beaches and tropical weather only but never thought of our modern and highly urbanized cities 😊

I like how he narrates, slow and very articulate, perfect for filipino audience

I am an Expatriate ( in Canada 🇨🇦 X 50 years) it’s refreshing to hear good things about Philippines 🇵🇭 although underneath remains the malignant Corruption of the different levels of the Government. It’s the Culture that dilutes the corruption, Filipinos are God fearing, family oriented, hospitable and friendly people.

Wow thanks for loving our country ... We always welcome foreigners who always respect and love our culture... Enjoy your staying here guys....
  • I am English, though my mother is Scottish and my father is Irish. I've lived in the Philippines, with my wife and son, as well as my step-daughter, for the past 5 years. We have property, a business and a regular income. We came here from HK with cash in the bank and property that we bought while we lived in HK. My Filipino friends and I pretty much take the piss out of one another all the time so it suits me just fine. With respect to healthcare, my family is fully insured in the Philippines, but this is hats off to HK, when my wife gave birth to our son in HK, the pre-natal, birth, post natal and vaccinations cost us around USD 80 - the HK health service is modelled on the NHS so if you are a taxpayer you are pretty much sorted. I wouldn't be anywhere else.
  • @RR52517
Your guest is right. Our laws are in English. The court proceedings are in English. This is enlightening.
  • @rubenbitas401
I used to teach in a private high school in the Philippines run by an Irish missionary priest. He’s from Northern Ireland . He’s accent is like your accent . I’m glad you chose my country , Philippines as your second home.
