He also counted Wyatt Earp among his friends and, interestingly, became a deputy in Tombstone, Arizona, prior to the infamous gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

John Henry Holliday (Halliday) is my great, great Uncle. He was of Scottish heritage and our families all settled in Georgia. My family settled in Tatnall County, in Reidsville. Their original Sir name is Halliday but due to census mistakes it became Holliday. It explains a lot of my character and why I've loved living in the Wild, wild West for 52 years! There was a time no one could outdrink me and I was one helluv a shot! We all have those blue eyes too!
