This honor was more than about music. It was about CLASS!! Throughout their entire career, they been a class act and have set the highest of standards with their fans and with the entire music industry. Perhaps the best ambassador that a nation can have. And Sweden recognizes that!! Thank you ABBA for your kindness to all your fans. And thank you Sweden for bestowing this well deserved honor to them!!

Abba is officially royalty now. But they have been royalty with the fans for a long time.

I am still emotional about what i experienced with this ceremony, ABBA awarded the highest honour of their lives by the King and Queen of Sweden the same King and Queen they performed Dancing Queen for ,for the royal wedding in 1976.This was ABBAsolutely perfect beautiful karma for their achievements and service for Sweden their Monarch and their people,I honestly believe that ABBA propelled and highlighted Sweden into world attention and significance and of course love,love the very emotion that defines ABBA.You can keep your Grammies,Emmys and Academy awards ,THIS is what ABBA DESERVES this is the the ultimate honour and definitive award. ❤ ABBA.

Very emotional. Some 50 years ago, they had no idea of how great they would be. Now, there is no doubt.

If any country owed a debt of gratitude to a few citizens then this was it. Timeless tunes ,legendary backstories and the manner in which they carried themselves in the industry was pure class.

How wonderful to see them together again / I am from Sydney Australia and have been a fan since 1975 - I was 8 years old then / what an incredible legacy they have - they should be proud of their incredible work as individual artists and their combined work - the powerful beautiful sound that is Abba ❤

Why it took so long so receive this achievement, thank god, they are all still around. Congrats, ABBA from US.

Tears. I grew up listening to ABBA starting at 14, when they won the Grand Prix d'Eurovision with Waterloo. Blessed.

If this is the final time ABBA get together in public, and lets hope not, what a crowning achievement for them! This was about the four incredible individuals who comprise this incredible group. Simple, dignifiied and richly deserving of ABBA, a totally opposite feeling than the last public recognition they got not so long ago.
