Kyrie Irving: SHERIFF of the NBA Playoffs

Kyrie does it again! The Dagger!! Irving is officially the Sheriff of close out games in the NBA Playoffs. Uncle Drew is officially 13-0 in series close out games, while averaging 23.2 points in these outings. When your back is against the wall in the series, this is not the guy you want on the other team.

Game 6, the Mavericks are up 3-2 in the series against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Mavs are at home and have a chance to advance on their home court. Kyrie had a very slow start with only 2 points in the first half. That came from a DIME BALL from Luka on a fast break. Due to this slow start, the Mavericks blew a first half 13-point lead and went into halftime tied at 52. The second half is when Sheriff Irving took over and scored 28 points. Highlighted by the dazzling dribble into a fadeaway 4-point play. He also performed well on the defensive side of the ball with two steals and two blocks. He wasn’t about to let any varmints run his town and send things back to LA.
