Buy Toyota, buy these instead, don't buy this buy Honda, don't buy Honda, buy this car instead of Toyota. I love Toyota, but don't buy these buy Honda. It gets confusing what to get from episode to episode. I may buy a Mazda now.

My 2009 honda fit has 300k miles and runs like a charm.
  • I live in Canada, i had a Honda fit 2007 and just sold it due to the rust all the rest was Nice, now I have a fit 2014 and so far so good, perfect for the city.

Yeah Scotty is a Toyota fan (most are great cars) but he also likes Honda (especially if they are built in Japan) and he will tell you Mazda and other brands are good vehicles if he tests them and thinks it is a good vehicle. Hell he says there are some good Hyundai vehicles (I’m a Hyundai lover with previous great cars) but he tells the truth from his experience with many cars. To me his experience (55+ years) is what I want to hear. Buy what you want but, Scotty will provide you his experience. Buy what you want and live with what you purchase, good, bad or ugly. Scotty only tells you what he thinks.
  • 2007 honfa fit. Manual 5 sp. Was rusted. Bought cheap. Welded all repairs solid repairs. Set valves. Runs incredibly well! 40 mpg. No payments...
  • I'm really happy with my 2016 CX-5. 2.5L conventionally aspirated engine, Mazda's 6-speed automatic. 2WD is all I need in Texas. 107K on the clock, no oil burning yet, religious about oil changes with 0W20 synthetic every 5K miles, transmission fluid drain and refill every 50K. So far 25 mpg in town and 29 on trips. For that roomy a car, pretty good I figure. Not a hint of trouble so far. What's not to like about that?

My 2001 Toyota Camry LE is the best car I've ever owned! 161k original miles on the engine and paid only $2700 out the door

When the USAF announced development of the 6th Gen fighter, Scotty advised them, “Just get a Toyota.”
  • Tires with some more sidewall will help your Matrix. It greatly improved my Vibe.
  • The Honda fit design was just outstanding! I have a 2009 with no issues what so ever , that car can hold and carry so much it replaced my truck for light duty stuff.
  • I own a 2015 Lexus RX350 with 165K miles. It looks and drives like a new car. Buy quality and keep it serviced, and you will never go wrong.
  • Scotty is right. We are far from the time to drive EVs, as a daily drive. So, try to maintain your car specially if you have manual transmission to drive it forever. And no turbo engine as well.
  • @truemanv3428
This channel is very informative and very helpful in finding the best cars. Thank you, Scotty!
  • I own a 2020 Acura ILX with the 2.4L engine mated to an 8 speed dual clutch transmission. Over 200hp from the factory and over 34mpg on the freeway.

Bought a 09 FIT new.......my son has it now, 300K+ miles. At 200K miles halfshafts failed, Honda replaced them as they had rusted, GREAT car.
