God, I didn't understand the depth of this song until I lived it. Every word, every note resonates with the deepest strings in my soul. So much pain… Thank you Chris and Motionless in white. You can't think of a better description of all these feelings.

Damn.. these lyrics hit hard.. the way I portray them is that it was about a relationship that he had to let go of in order to grow, and he had to become someone he hated and make a hard decision in the end and now he regrets it and wants to go back but he can't get past the fact of the things he did, and he hates that he needs the other person later on in life. Maybe I'm putting too much of my own life into these lyrics, but that's the beauty of music. Perception.
