Idc if people called this song overrated. I’ve had it on repeat since like seven months ago and thanks to this song I discovered this band, literally one of the thing that I’ve been searching for my whole life and what keeps me going everyday. I’m stuck on the definition of ‘Overdosing in the song you wrote’ 😌

Yeah, this song really hits different when you have that "one that got away". You see their name wherever you go.. a sound or smell instantly sends you back to a time to a memory you cherish with all your heart.. people say time heals all wounds, but scars stay. I remember the first and only time I ever wanted to melt into somebody to be closer to them... I dont know, love is a curse that some are blessed to have I guess 🤷‍♂️ I love ya Sam, I always will... ❤

The song means more to me than most people would understand. I was in a relationship with a lady for about four and a half years and we decided at the end of it that we needed a split and work on ourselves to be healthier adults and grow ourselves so we could fix "us." We both did harm to each other. We put distance and time between us, and removed most contact besides emergency. We've slowly contacted each other again and this year, she and I will grow closer once again. We crave making memories together again. Thank you for this song, it means so much to me.
