First Time Totally Off Grid

Although a single PM DC motor powered off one six-battery bank of 12v batteries drives both 134A compressors of this system, three 12v power supplies (one for the two condenser fans plus another for the two compressor clutches and system control power), and the air-handler blower are usually powered from a single 220v ac receptacle fed from the grid supply line from the breaker box to the air-handler. In this test however, a 72v dc to 220v ac 1.5 KW inverter powered off a second bank of batteries fed from the second charge controller is taking the place of the grid power for the blower and 12v supplies. The entire system was running great on only six 300 Watt solar panels (two per charge controller) until the clouds rolled in; so my next challenge is finding a way to seamlessly supplement with grid power on such occasions.
