From Delta receiving several awards to adding unbelievable features to their planes, here’s how Delta is destroying every other airline.

And to start with, Delta topped the charts as the most on-time airline in 2022. Unlike most airlines that constantly get delayed, Delta recorded an 84.1% on-time arrival, making punctuality a priority.
Now that’s Impressive!

But this wasn’t only what the airline did right. Cuz Delta also rewarded some enticing upgrades to its customers, which simply put, are just beautiful!

I took a long haul to the Philippines. During the return layover in Korea, the pilot noticed a problem with the mechanics. They worked on getting it fixed, but ended up canceling the flight. We were one of the last flights out of the night. They worked on getting us a hotel stay in Korea, handed us a type-written sheet apologizing by the time we de-planed. The next morning when they got a new plane, we were given free breakfast, terminal food vouchers before boarding, and had a snack cart waiting in the gate area, another letter of apology. and doubled my trip miles before I even landed in Atlanta. I'm sticking with them.

Who could possibly imagine flying from Chicago to Honolulu without a scenic stop in Atlanta
  • As a Delta 33 year veteran pilot, I have no idea where you are getting your information. You’re not even close.
  • Can't complain with Delta when taking them from Paris to Atlanta. The steward was extraordinary always there to get me what I wanted.

Due to mechanical issues on one side and them pushing my connecting aircraft back from the gate early on the other side, Delta caused me to miss my connection. However, they did make it right by booking me on a flight out the next day in the same class (I was flying first on that trip) and paid my hotel and meals while I was stuck in my connection city. Overall I think they are a good airline.

Delta's awesome. I was totally fed up with United, switched over to DL, and couldn't be happier. Hands down, best onboard product flying from Hawaii to the mainland and back.

Delta is the best airline in the country. They take care of their customers and employees, and their clubs are fantastic.
  • As someone who has flown delta a decent amount and I have only gotten delayed once and that was because of a snow storm and out of the big three airlines delta is the only one I would fly with
  • I started flying with NWA (back in 1993, my college days), and since then only NWA-DELTA now. I always felt safe flying with NWA-DELTA!

As a frequent flyer of only Delta for the last 10 years, I can tell you I have NEVER spent more than 50k miles for trips, even international comfort+, so the statement of 100k to 500k miles for economy ticket is so off base.
  • I can’t remember the last time I flew anything other than Delta … DTW as my “home” airport makes for a great direct flight almost everywhere

Delta is hands down one of the best in terms of US airlines…it’s clean, services are decent. Since they’re the cheapest when flying to the States, I’m pretty satisfied😊

A lot better than they used to be, that's for sure. American and United are a far cry from their former glory though

I love delta, but unfortunately they are the most expensive airline to fly to Asia, and Detroit is the most expensive city to fly to Asia from on Delta. It's cheaper to fly round trip to another city and then fly to Asia from there I really don't understand the ticket prices, I am not alone in this, I know several people that are giving up on flying Delta.
  • Well, I like Delta but, one thing that really pisses me off about them is that I can’t even access their lounges at all without signing up for their credit card, even if I fly on a short haul international flight now. It really doesn’t help that they devalued their miles so much too. Both of those reasons are why I prefer to avoid Delta at all costs now. Personally I’d prefer to give my loyalty status to Delta because I do live right in a Delta hub (MSP) but, now since I get less than what I’m paying for with them, I won’t fly them. I go take my business elsewhere to Alaska (which has a superior domestic product and loyalty program), American (I have platinum status with them) or United (matching my status with them from American and have a buddy pass for right now).

Leave out the over the top language, the wing didn’t “burst into flames”, the engine flames out.
  • How many stations does delta have their own agents doing customer service and ground handling?
