I never knew such places existed. It has so many different cooking methods and type of fish that you could go 5 times and not have the same thing twice. Really enjoyed the experience. Thanks for that.

honestly i think this makes you appreciate your meal and the animal more. In my opinion i believe its more personal and an experience to learn from and be thankful for what youre able to eat/the animals sacrifice

I wonder how many tourists accidentally eat the bait thinking it's an appetizer Edit: For those who missed it and are commenting that there is no bait - 0:38
  • While I'm not a big fan of seafood, I have to confess the whole idea of this restaurant is really cool.

Just as you people are wondering, the fish she caught at 15:20 is called squirefish, porgy or scup in America, snapper in australasia, and red seabream in Japan

I love how the Japanese culture is so respectful and calm. You don’t hear people yelling over each other and being rude in restaurants.

We have a few catch and cook restaurants in Michigan, but we goes out on the great lakes on a boat to catch perch, walleye, trout, whitefish and Salmon.. Fresh fish tastes so yummy.

I'll pay good money to eat out at this restaurant with my crew and family. It may be tad bit expensive; however, the amount of hospitality, the atmosphere it presents to guests no matter where they're from, and the experience to literally pick out your own seafood and prepared in many different ways... it's truly amazing.

Thanks for going 2x and showing us different menu items plus prices each time and the way they can be done all in the same video. It is most helpful for us to not only see what is available but educational which all your videos tend to be while showing what may or maynot taste good. Koodos for the places you go to which also allow video recording and explaining the menus too.

Rule placard in English, and someone who can explain things in English. They are definitely prepared for tourists. And I recognized the olive flounder from Animal Crossing.

This is an absolutely incredible idea! As a fisherman, I’d definitely eat there

Honestly your channel is very interesting for people who don't travel as often.

I can deal with the fish being in there but I’m a bit horrified that two sharks are in such small tanks.
  • @kezia8027
ngl I feel bad for the sharks... swimming around in 2 feet of water barely 10m long... at least the prawns/clams/etc wouldn't notice it but for the sharks that would be like torture...

I stumbled on this channel because of the fun vending machine videos, and now its my favorite channel. The vibe of all the videos is also really calming.
  • @Hottedphoenix
That shark in the tank is so huge 😮!! That look like lot of fun to try but I feel bad for them fishies. Some how fishing 🎣 in the wild seem to be fair chance of meal vs survival for then in the pond like that 😅
  • That’s really cool. The customers Get to interact with their food in a cool way and part of something else besides just eating.
