I tried this recipe tonight and my goodness that meatloaf was full of flavor!! My wife who usually make the meatloaf was impressed!! This is a keeper!!!

My parents are disabled so I make freezer meals for them. Meat loaf is Daddy's fav!!!!😀 He always has me make him a special loaf just so he can have meatloaf sandwiches!!!!!

Love her! I use homemade Mac and Cheese with stewed tomatoes as a side for our meatloaf. Everyone loves it and there is usually just a small amount left.

I chopped some of the leftover into chunks and add to spaghetti sauce instead of meatballs. Amazing.

My family always had meatloaf on Friday so we could have cold meatloaf sandwiches for lunch on Saturday. My husband was appalled that we did not pan fry our meatloaf and serve hot sandwiches. He said my mother didn't love us 😂. I'm 70 and I still eat it cold the next day.

FYI- As a single mom trying to get dinner together quickly, I found that making mini-meatloaf in a cupcake pan worked well. It cuts the baking time down by about half, which is great when everyone is starving. ❤

The 1st time I ever saw anything concerning the beloved meatloaf sandwich. I have meatloaf cooking now, I will try your version Sunday, it isn't close to best but it does look tasty. When there was leftover meatloaf mom made a sandwich of toast, Miracle Whip, mustard and her meatloaf for breakfast before school. A fav of mine 60 yrs ago and it triggers wonderful memories but for a simple sandwich it is pretty darn good

I use only ketchup on the top. Alot!! I also use ketchup in it. Celery, onions, carrots sometimes but usually celery and onions..Garlic too. I 've NEVER used oats either. Just not sure why. I use seasoned bread crumbs too but my favorite is a sleeve of crushed saltines. Sub milk for some half n half. This recipe looks amazing. I love to eat meatloaf cold as leftovers! Don't heat it, no sandwich just cold on a plate! Sometimes I make 5 lbs of meatloaf and everyone loves it so much, we have sometimes don't have much left! It's crazy! Same with mashed potatoes! Lol... Love this channel!! The best ideas, recipes and twists on dishes. Absolutely love it! That's cooking to me. Switch it up. Use different things. Try new ways. Get new ideas. My mom used a supermarket-made package of 1/3 each: ground beef, pork, and veal. I can never find something like that where I live, so I just use 1/3 pork and 2/3 beef, and pretty much everything else you do. I'll take meatloaf any day over steak!

I grew up using crushed saltines, but have used oats, corn flakes, & now use the seasoned crumbs. I also make tomato gravy. It's always smooth! Just make gravy as always but add ketchup. Really good.

I use Stove Top Stuffing, usually turkey... more seasoning, for my binder in meat loaf.

Nicole is not only a damn good cook but also ... Human. Will try this next time but I usually wrap mine in bacon 🥓
