I very well shit myself when that hammer player went balls to the walls right after Kirin got up.

One of my friends tried mounting him with the glider, got shot out of the air. My other friend died because he was laughing so hard and we failed, it was pretty great.

This inaccurate. There is no where near enough death and failure to truly represent the tempered Kirin experience.

I think the most humiliating thing is that you get owned by a creature that little girls have on their school binders.

To avoid having people die in 1-2 hits I just went solo. I'd get too annoyed if people kept dying right at the end (I went through that with the regular Kirin).

That last hit xD Lucky that there's no damage once is death. It would have been fun, in a cruel way, that you would have carted with that attack xD Anyway, congrats for the victory

... I just unlocked a Tempered Kirin quest with 6 REWARDS.... 2 players, 15 minute time limit, but only 1 FAINT... I’d do it solo, but the only other time I beat a Kirin was due to Fortify kicking in.... Help... T~T

What you need to do is good preparation. Soloing with decimation claw(dual blade), 3 vaal hazak(torso waist leg for super recovery) ingot arm for a little thunder resistance, sunglasses for stun resistance, thunder resistance charm 3, thunderproof mantle, vitality mantle, veggie platter(elem resist L), a max potion for extra health, regular armor and demondrug(or mega if u want), and plenty of immunizer(recovery speed). Do it patiently, if its enraged(hard skin) go demon mode and do spinning attack(circle on ps 4). The elderseal will become handy. Swap between the mantle and dont forget to take off your mantle when the effect worn off(if u dont, the mantle will not go to the cooldown phase). REMEMBER!!!PATIENT!!! Its not that hard. Sorry for bad engrish.

I do not suggest firing SOS in tempered kirin. Bring your baby palico with that taunt shield, and go make yourself a hammer. Good luck.
