Kulve Taroth is basically what happens if you leave a little girl in a room with Great Jagras and a lot of gold-coloured paper.

I like how breaking the horns doesn't have her just randomly leave. She leaves each time you annoy her enough in other segments, too - the first time, after you keep flicking cannon balls against her enough to irritate her, she goes downstairs to get away. Then, when you've really pissed her off, she goes and hides in her sauna. When you melt off her coat, she goes and hides in the basement. If the goal was to kill her, you could probably continue to pursue her after breaking off the horns- but it isn't, so you let her go. It's a nice change from "Here's a new majestic wonderful creature we need to do research on. Let's research it by murdering every single one you come across!"
