This could possibly make sense Moreover the end credits of the game after exiting the end clearly states to you to wake up and after that you respawn in your bed implying that the game is some sort of metaphor of a dream
  • @memefox1985
I'm surprised you didn't talk about the End Poem which literally says "Wake up."
  • Maybe the cave sounds are the people trying to wake up Steve Also i went more into this theory and watched the entire end credits. And at the of the end credits it says... "Wake up" Theory confirmed by me tbh
  • @minkmiau
This is actually a lot scarier than I thought it could be. Am I the only one who thinks this is really scary?
  • The Minecraft books confirm some of these ideas, there is one about a girl in a coma who is teleported into Minecraft. There is another where it is implied a man was thrown off a boat into the water then spawns in the water in Minecraft with no memories. They are called Minecraft the island and Minecraft the crash
  • @anammorar
That's what I like about Minecraft since when I build something that amazes me it feels like a dream. I like your theory, Kunai - I strongly believe the Nether is a place for the nightmares. How would someone like the sound of the Ghat & constantly provides us ghost bumps, scream & run just like a creeper from the overworld, for me the Ghast it's a bigger creeper, but with a horrible sound + explosion
  • Hi Kunai, one thing you didn’t mention (I think) is that when you beat the game and go through the portal is what it says, most people skip it but it might give you clues, here is a few this that it said which have the word “dream” in it, or gives you clues, one thing says, “what did this player dream?” Another thing said, “in a long dream” Something else said, “Too strong for this dream.” It also said, “Sometimes the player dreamed it was watching words on a screen.” Maybe that means that they are dreaming that they beat “the game.” But the biggest clue is at the end, the biggest clue says, “Wake up”

For that matter, the sound that plays at 5:57 could be a warped, massively slowed-down heart-monitor beep sound. Also...I am a lucid-dreamer (some of which are actually set IN Minecraft, ironically...or at least partially), and it can be quite fun...if the dream cooperates. I often find myself fighting for control over what is happening, which can be annoying. But when it does cooperate, it IS really fun!

I know how long videos take to edit and the time it can take to get the idea you want to share. It's good to have you back my man

I actually made this theory a lot before anyone made a video about it (but didnt go into as much detail)! To further support (y)our idea, whenever you die, you wake up in your bed like nothing ever happened (was it a dream?) The minecart theory is also a really great connection! I think golden apples and enchanted golden apples may have to do with the dream part (they fit in the end quite well), try looking into that!
  • Hey, new viewer here. Saw you in my recommendeds and had to take a look. Very impressed with your writing, editing and thinking. Earned a subscribe from me

According to the Credits, it is. In fact it's the only Minecraft lore. It quite literally calls the game a short dream.
  • @tacolotl3000
I love how it's still exactly 8 minutes long like in each video
  • @akaeron6472
Huh... I been thinking about this. And even the game says that the player would "dream of worlds". It would explain why 9 diamonds could be turned into a 1x1x1 meter solid block, when the overall amount of diamonds would not be anywhere near that size separately. You make 3 diamond pickaxes, and it will be less than 13rd the overall size. While still being the said 9 diamonds needed to make the block. It explains why you could be able to carry hundreds of blocks of diamond or gold with ease.

You have dull dreams? HOW?! I dreamed the other night that i was in my childhood summercamp and every staff member was made of re-stitched body parts, much like Frankenstein's monster, and i had to hide them from the government agents who were trying to capture them for testing. There was also a talking porcupine involved. He betrayed us. Anyways, great video man 👏👏

Theory: As soon as you spawn in, the monsters are trying to protect their world from you, because they aren't the ones chopping down trees or killing animals to survive, they chill out in caves until you find em and kill em. Edit: Also Minecraft is a dream. If you end the game after killing the ender dragon and it has all those credits, at the very end it says: WAKE UP!
  • @TheRealBoloci
There is something that you forgot to say: if you are in the end and jump in the portal to go back to the overworld you get some boring text. But at the end of the story there’s standing: wake up
