Changing thermostat on a 1996 Mercedes w140 s600 Brabus

That bracket is just the lifting hook to remove the engine 👍

On the M120 can install a plate to have 100% coolant circulation and no thermostat (warm climate only). These engines run quite hot normally and the TCU pulls timing when hot which reduces power.

For a little bit of context, this Mercedes w140 s500 is my late grandfather’s most prized possession. After he passed, my father took the car and didn’t treat it very well.
