How to Deal with Self Doubt

2years later and this still slaps hard, who else is here in 2024

I didn’t know when I started crying... I wish I was born into a family that practiced genuine love and respect.. my people only know how to instill doubt into me and project so much insecurity .. it’s really hard fighting life alone and just learning how to figure life all by myself! I’m a strong lady but I just can’t help breaking down sometimes.. I just wish I had a place I can find genuine peace , I wish I had a home! Sigh..this video really brought back the spark and I’ll be back to my normal self tomorrow morning. Thank you Vusi 🥺! I’m grateful for you 🙏🏾

Self doubt is the root of a lot of my problems. I am a first year student in a highly competitive degree and school. Being surrounded by the most intelligent people has made me anxious , made me question whether or not I am even capable of achieving this degree. This video came at right time. Growing up, I always felt like the least in the room even though I believed I was the most prepared. I got scared almost every time and told myself I’m not worthy. I remember listening to this on my way home from night duty a few hours after it was posted. Today I came back here because this week I have an all important meeting which I know is going to positively change the trajectory of my career. I came back here because I have been doubting myself. I have been thinking, I don't deserve to sit in that room. However I will remind myself that on that day, everyone starts at zero, I just have to make sure that I am the most prepared person in the room. Thank you Vusi for sharing
