    Update: it seems pvp AP is on, but it is related to rank. I BELIEVE neophyte rank and possibly apprentice rank give zero AP for killing them. Still trying to figure it out. OK - update RE PVP KILLS: We still don't know how it's being calculated exactly. Trying to pull info from game files now. a LOT of pvp kills are giving zero, and some key others are giving *99* AP. We believe it's a gear score breakpoint of some kind, but aren't sure as of yet. Either way, it seems unreliable atm.

    I can see Ironmace removing the PvP bonus to dissuade Timmy-stomping all the new players. Obviously most of the newbies are FTP and will only be in norms, but some will buy the game and try out High Roller, and would likely jump right back to norms if they got hunted by a Heat-Seaking Anti-Timmy squad for their cracked bangles and 100 AP bounty.

    Its really clear to me that they're making it easier so new players can try the system while they're getting the hang of the game and not get too frustrated. I got to Demi last season when it was HARD hard and i thought it was a cool challenge, however, we gotta be honest, Season ONE demigod was PISS EASY to get, we all had the whole season 1 to learn it before they made it hard on Season 2. Its only fair that new players get to have a "learning season" as well imo

    followed this and got to top 25 overall and was top 3 fighter for a little bit, and got demigod in like 3 days, was a good grind, thanks Onepeg!

    don't you lose all AP if you die after taking a portal down? Or does whatever AP you earned get saved between floors?

    Could someone clarify as to what is "an item" and what is "a treasure" as used in 05:10 - 05:24 I use both words to refer to the same thing, but Onepeg clearly refers to two different categories. I don't understand the taxonomy used here.

    I want to get demigod this season. And I expect to do it mostly in solo ice caverns

    Keep in mind that PvP was not used for player kills but rather for stealing treasure from dead players. This means PvP is still as viable for AP grind.

    So run crypts, kill mobs, open chests and loot jewelry? Skip gear?

    If you break treasure chests as a barb does it count towards ap, or do you have to interact/open them?

    U mention opening chests gives ap but does breaking barrels and crates with hellfire or whatever give ap?

    Does looting treasure chest count if you destroy the chest
