I love this woman and her cooking. No nonsense, down to earth home cooking. No fancy recipes, no complicated steps. Great good!

I've been a huge fan of hers since I used to watch her show on PBS. Excellent cook!

I love Ms. Lydia sooooooo much. She's the one who taught me to stop putting oil in the water when cooking my pasta. It comes out less slippery, and the sauce sticks to it better.

Legend has it she’s still adding cheese lol. Great recipe!

This woman is absolutely fearless, and absolutely incredibly graceful. Can’t get enough of this show. Thank You for sharing. These segments exactly the right length.

I used to watch her on PBS as well. She's good at everything she does. Very entertaining cook👍👍👍

Bravo! Make sure you cook the pasta a couple of minutes short of al dente...it will continue to cook in the oven. Also, serve with plenty of extra marinara sauce as the pasta tends to dry out al forno.

I used to love watching her show on PBS, and I always make baked ziti (usually I add ground Italian sausage), but I never thought of mixing the ricotta in the sauce first, or layering it like a lasagne. Time to make some RIGHT NOW!!!
  • I love this easy baked ziti, so warm and comforting. I would add italian sausage and peppers and onions. The kids never liked to many vegetables, so I put the vegetables in the blender and they never knew they were eating broccoli or cauliflower. Great memories! Have a great day everyone!

Love this my friend thank you. When I cook with you it reminds me of my Italian sister in law teaching me how to cook 50 years ago. Now I'm Nana Sunday dinner 🌹🥖🍷🍷🤗

"I don't want any to fall, oh well I'll go back for it." I've had this exact inner dialogue at least 1000 times in my lifetime haha

My boyfriend had two huge helpings of this. I myself thought it tasted phenomenal. Thanks, Lidia! From a fellow Italian.

I just love Lidia’s recipes! They look so delicious and she makes it seem so easy to make. My family loves baked ziti. We used vegetarian Italian sausage , eggplant, zucchini, mushroom, onion , & garlic , with of course provolone , mozzarella , and Parmesan and it was delicious ! ❤
