Several years ago, a Newport Beach policeman stopped me and it was the most insulting, sarcastic and demeaning interaction I have ever had in my life. I had accidentally turned into a residential street next to the beach that had recently been changed from two way to one way. He kept yelling at me and even asked if I knew how to read English. I realized he was trying to get m e angry but I kept calm and only said the minimum. He was a real jerk and jackass.
