This unique treasure, the likes of whom NZ and the international opera world will never see again. Dame Kiri Te Kanawa has it all: beauty, the gift of her incomparable voice, grace and class.

I though that this would be Dame Kiri's final recording/performance. How lucky I was so hear her live in 2006 and that she sang another 12 years after this was recorded. What a voice...what an artist.

For sheer beauty of singing, Dame Kiri is hard to beat. For me, she is the highest standard of the Countess and Marshalllin.

Oh my goodness what I would have given to be there to see this!! Dame Te Kanawa, what else can I say that no one has said before, maybe just this: That her voice is an extension of her beauty. I don't recall any opera singer in recent years who is as beautiful as she is and who has the voice to match the physical beauty. And her dresses, one prettier than the other...What a night. BRAVA yet again.
