That was not artistic creation, that was copying someone's artistic creation and making a mockery of it, the bible does not condone being gay, so this was more of a slap in the face to followers of Christ

Olympics opening ceremony was evil , a desgrace.Abominable!!!!

If they've dared to mock moslems, Paris would have been in flames right now.

That is one big lie, it was ment to schock and degrade the Christian faith.

So basically what they said is, " We knew what we were doing, and have achieved our goal. If you are offended we don't give a crap because thats exactly what we intended"

The Olympics are about the whole world not only about France..... It was beyond disgusting to me! Greetings from Germany!

The French taxpayer has been landed with an enormous bill for this fiasco as sponsors are pulling out. The opening ceremony should have been a huge advertisement for the Parisian and French tourist industry and a huge benefit to the economy but is now an expensive disaster. The whole thing was totally disjointed & it was completely idiotic to hold the event outside given the weather. You had to watch the slow ceremony along the Seine through rain soaked cameras, you could hear the rain in audio, the Olympic flag was upside down, they mixed up South Korea with North Korea and the can can dancers were not in sync. A lack of French celebrities & music eg David Guetta, Jean-Michel Jarre (Oxygène) with the fireworks, no French accordion music, no Stéphane Grapelli music, no French children singing. A lack of French celebrities eg Marion Cotillard, Catherine Deneuvre, Brigitte Bardot and with famous French athletes at the sidelines. After 4 hours, nobody cared about who the flame carrying guy was. What we were left with was a combination of Ru Paul’s drag race and the Eurovision Song Contest. To top it off, they managed to offend the Christian population of 2.38bn people. They hired an inexperienced director, Thomas Jolly, who was more concerned with political ideology than doing his job.

Our neighbors are Muslims and they didn’t care for the “homosexual” content of the opening ceremony and said they were disgusted by all of it, even the Last Supper was horrible! I completely AGREED with my neighbors!
