Fair use is a legal doctrine that promotes freedom of expression by permitting the unlicensed use of copyright-protected works in certain circumstances. Section 107 of the Copyright Act provides the statutory framework for determining whether something is a fair use and identifies certain types of uses—such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research—as examples of activities that may qualify as fair use.

Which Batman movie is YOUR favorite?
  • @manmamas
Fun fact: the actor that played Rachel hadn't seen Heath Ledger in his Joker costume, and when he came up and grabbed her, she was actual terrified cause she didn't know what was happening

RIP, Heath Ledger. He posthumously won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as the Joker. He did a hell of a good job
  • @tylerhuckaby
Ange: It's so good watching it as an adult and really dissecting what every scene has portrayed. Also Ange: proceeds to snap chopstick with hands to prove how easy it is to break a pool cue
  • @GiffTunes
Fun fact: The Dark Knight was a big reason the Oscars started nominating more films for best picture than just the standard 5 nominees (from 1944 to 2008. It increased in 2009).
  • @ThallVic
The mask the Joker wears to rob the bank at the beginning is a reference to a mask that Cesar Romero's Joker wore in a episode of the 1966 Batman TV series.
  • @ThallVic
Fun fact: Maggie Gyllenhaal is Jake Gyllenhaal's sister. Jake is the godfather of Heath Ledger's daughter, Matilda.

RIP and long live the greatest Joker actor of all time. Heath Ledger (April 4, 1979 – January 22, 2008), aged 28 You will always be remembered as a legend.

6:57 well your right, a pencil probably wouldn’t be durable to break through the skull. And that’s why Joker does it through the eye socket.
  • @JonPaulMaki
People rightfully praise Heath Ledger for his performance in this, and everyone is great, but man, that part when Gordon says, "We have to save Dent! I have to save Dent!" gets me every time. Just the way he says "I." Gary Oldman puts his entire soul into that single syllable.
  • @dadougler
The clown mask is actually a call back to a 1966 Batman episode featuring the Joker
  • @davetheblade
Angelina: you can’t kill a man with a pencil! John Wick: 😏
  • @grimlord3181
Harvey blamed Gordon for Rachel's death because Harvey knew which of Gordon's cops were corrupt and told him but Gordon didn't do anything about it because he didn't want to lose numbers.

Yes the truck flipping scene was done practically They actually flipped an 18 wheeler And the scene when Joker blows up the hospital was improvised on the spot because there was a technical issue with the pyrotechnics that delayed the explosion So when you see Joker confused as to why the building isn't blowing up it is a genuinely real reaction 😄

I think Harvey Dent was meant to represent the evil inside all of us. Sometimes we’re just one bad day away from becoming the very thing we despise. No one is safe from it. Heath Ledger gets a lot of praise, but I think Aaron Eckharts descent into madness is just moving. That coin scene at the hospital. Bruh.
  • @53thephenix
This reaction was the one we needed but not the one we deserved.
  • "This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object". Best line ever 🖤
  • If I remember correctly when the joker has the handheld and killing the batdude, ledger was given complete control over what happened
  • @benkelly2024
Yes, the truck flip was real. Nolan used a steel ram powered by TNT to throw the back of the truck 54 feet into the air while a stuntman was driving it.
  • 23:58 Something that often gets overlooked is that Lau (Mr. Good with Money) is sitting on top of the pile of burning money.
