Due to space issues in the yard, Nigel had a little holiday in Michael Jackson's former residence. Now, I am very happy to have my cheerful little car back.

Nice to see Nigel. And nice to see him get some treats. Wouldnā€™t it be lovely to fit the most luxurious of interior parts to him and make like a Wood and Pickett Nigel? Not so sure about the BRM bit, it looks a bit daft and garish in an actual BRM so it will be magnified in Nigelā€™s relatively sombre insides. Iā€™m a big fan of the small but luxurious car, so much so that I ignored everything my eyes and ears were telling me to buy a Renault 5 Monaco back in the day. One of those brown ones with the bodykit and seats like a posh hotel foyer. Nothing worked properly and I can still see the stains where I used to park it and it would ejaculate its oil, but the delight of opening the door and sinking into that fabulous leather seat and holding the leather wrapped wheel is still fresh in my mind.

I reckon some Longships in place of the MG Octagons on t' wheels would be a nice improvement. Wheels do suit Nigel nicely.

Now then, Its nice to see Nigel ... to see Nigel ... ( is Brucie hasn't been heard for ages, is he also gathering dust up at Senior Mustard's?) I like the no-roof lining look - its another individual feature of Nigel! I suggest a multi-colour paint finish or even a giant 'Project Nigel' logo Bring back the bonnet mascot I say! How about a viking ship!

10:03 I'd say a good car is one that keeps you interested and doesn't cost you more than you want to put into it.

Reminds me of that Song, Making Plans for Nigel. Lmao
  • I do like to state the bleedinā€™ obvious, but bear in mind that cars with 16ā€ wheels from the factory had different front tie rods - this could possibly be a part of the reason for Nigel not driving as nicely as he formerly did. Great to see the happy little car return to his rightful home on the channel, cheers.
  • I think the gridspokes look great. And Nigel is all about appearances so sod the driving experience. So good to see an episode dedicated to Nigel.. one day I hope to have a drive in him pretty please šŸ˜Š

I put insulation foam with reflective coating on the roof of my 75 before I put the roof lining back on. It makes it a bit cosier in the rain because it cuts down on the drumming sound on the roof.

Does your Audi have wishbone suspension? I seem to find cars with macpherson struts tramline more.
