  • Base Stat Gold Efficiency Explanation: Since most items have more than one stat, it would be incomplete to only evaluate an itemā€™s Gold Efficiency over just one stat. For example, Thunder Belt has 4 different base stats: HP, Physical Defense, Magic Defense, and Movement Speed. In order to truly evaluate it, Iā€™m using a new method to analyze these items, called Base Stat Gold Efficiency. To do this, we take all of the cheapest items for each stat and call them Root Items. For example, the cheapest item that gives HP is Vitality Crystal, which gives 230 HP for 300 Gold. This makes it the root item for HP, and also meaning the Root Gold Efficiency for HP is 300 Gold Ć· 230 HP, which gives 1.3 Gold/HP. Since Thunder Belt has 800 HP, this means that the Root Value of that HP is 800 x 1.3 = 1,040 Gold. Here are the Root Values for Thunder Belt: 800 HP (1,040 Gold) 15 Physical Defense (236 Gold) 15 Magic Defense (236 Gold) 20 Movement Speed (250 Gold) Total Root Value = 1,762 Gold In order to get our Base Stat Gold Efficiency, we take the Root Value Ć· Actual Value. Since Thunder Belt costs 1,820 Gold, we take 1,762 Ć· 1,820 = 97% This means that Thunder Belt has good value for Base Stats relative to the Root Values of the cheapest items.
  • While only having 50% of its effect, Thunderbelt can give you good survivability enough to have some kind of def against both types of damage while also not sacrificing too many slots. Heroes that can manage these stacks are crucial, I can only think of Clint...

Thunderbelt is godly item now for tanks which relies on basic attack like on Hylos for the first item since in late game with many items and stack, he can actually solo kill some enemy heroes lol. He can gain roughly 40-50 easily in a single match assuming it last for like 15 minutes and the added hybrid defens just makes it more tanky and beefier
  • Thunder Belt is the third best item in this update imo (the other two are Clock of Destiny & Queen's Wings) I experimented with it on many heroes, and the best result was with Gatotkaca and Hylos. It is also the reason why I became Gatot main. At the same time, I also tried to change the Heptaseas of some Heptaseas users to TB to see the effect. The best results so far are Khaleed and Hilda. (I haven't tried others yet) The highest stacks I've tried so far is 70 Stacks TB with Esme in Classic, and I gained over 300 Physical Defense (including other items and base def) Then my enemy was dumb enough not to buy Malefic Roar, and hit me almost as hard as a tickle.
  • After the latest update on Thunderbelt, I tried it on some heroes that I've been using and so far: [Tank] Hylos: Warhorse built like a truck. Gatotkaca: Thunderbelt makes him fly across the skies like lightning and clap the enemies cheeks upon landing. Gloo: Enemy heroes would be glue'd to the ground after you're finish with them. Belerick: Enemy heroes gets rooted in place and becomes fertilizers. Uranus: He can go into places where the Sun doesn't shine. Hilda: Enemies either die of Snu Snu or Slow Slow. Minotaur: No amount of pressure cooking can soften this Beef. Chip: !chipi chipi chipi chapa chapa dubi dubi daba daba magico mi dubi dubi boom boom boom boom [Fighter] Silvanna: pedro pedro pedro (*petition to get the pedro pedro pedro as one of the sound alerts for the stream) Alpha: Pure Damage Hell. No escape. [Assassin] Helcurt: Deadly Thunder Stings! Since Helcurt's 2nd skill is counted as a normal attack, it can both get stacks and activate the Thunderbelt passive. (*got forced to play as an Assassin since no one wanted to... And it turned out to be a colorful experience)(**I don't use this BBC, or any Assassins at all, just got forced to) [Mage] Valir: Thunderbelt passive plus his flaming and dazzling hot balls is kind of a disgusting combination in chasing an enemy. Add in the Starlium Scythe for more chase and pure damage. [Marksman] Clint: Thunderbelt has been my go to defense item for this hero. Irithel: Tried it for fun and unexpectedly got great results. It helped her survive/escape some situations. And since her attack becomes AOE after using her ultimate, it is possible to get multiple stacks specially during clashes. (*she can get upto 5x stacks in one normal attack when paired with Atlas or Tigreal)

Hylos thunder belt and clock of destiny šŸŽ‰

I started using gatot again last week because I noticed he's getting picked more in rank. I quickly realized why. Thunderbelt on him is broken. When he is low hp, the dmg is insane because he gains physical defense based on hp status. Can literally 2v1 2 late game heroes. This is game changing because in late game, tanks become paper to a fed mm. Not only can he tank late game mm, he can kill them easily. Another hero Im liking with thunderbelt is chip. The dmg is really good and it synergizes well with his s1 and s2. And Im trying thunderbelt hanzo which is pretty fun. I checked top global builds and most of them are building thunderbelt šŸ˜
  • @icepyro21
I think Carmilla works since she steals hybrid def to add thunderbelt and the damage could be shared via the linked enemies, but it sometimes feels inconsistent considering you steak def from 3 enemies at most before procing Thunder belt.
  • @dineshp0305
One other thing to mention is it's use on clint and/or Lesley. Both use basics as major damage source and they are burst heroes. Plus both get other passive triggering items like endless battle so it will boost them even more. Though it's not significant the defence stats are also not bad .
  • @Felixial17
it saved my ass as mm in many matches. I can say it is a good investment in early game AS MM if you think the enemies gonna gang u up or your team won't give u cover, it is one of the best defensive items as mm for me.
  • I would say, the best frontline with building thunderbelt is Hylos, because Hylos' passive benefit huge from Dominance Ice and Clock of Destiny while Clock of Destiny gives high hybrid def stats & Domi gives not only anti heal+more hp for hylos. Plus, Hylos has short cooldown on skill1 that can accelerate and basic attack.(TB don't need skill to activate, TB automatic activate every 4 seconds, you just need to basic attack an enemy hero and still comeout safely)
  • Thanks For The Review About Thunderbelt RubyRubyRubyšŸ‘
  • Many are sleeping on hylos. That horse is annoying as hell with thunderbelt
  • Just so you know, most tanks hardly use basic attack.so someone like tigreal or franco would hardly get 5 stacks.khufra is good with it.chip is just insane with it.
  • @acapellaseto
this brings me back where I used to watch theorycrafting on Genshin damage calcs, keep up the good content!
  • @pyror8954
a lot of people overlook ranged supports with thunder belt especially floryn and mathilda since both can be played without the book allowing you to rush it right after the flask. basically giving up a bit of healing or shielding consistency for more defence and slows.
