  • Love the disclaimer at the beginning. Many people take this for granted. But being disfigured or confined to a wheelchair for the rest of your life while you could have avoided it is no fun whatsoever.

As a MD in a trauma center I loved the disclaimer at the start! As a car enthusiast I loved the whole thing! You're so enthusiastic on all your projects, that makes everything look so easy.
  • he really and genuinely cares about people.. he just spent multiple minutes explaining why it's so serious and that its not worth it.. what an amazing role model, chris if you read this. your one heck of a man, thanks for being you!. i have so much respect, what a great mentor/father he will be if he has a son/daughter one day. he's taught me so much just through the internet!

The disclaimer at the start is amazing! My partner was just in a SERIOUS car accident on the 26/5/22. I drive a old ute with no air bags, so we wanted q new car. Long story short I've owned 2 other n15 pulsars, this one was my partners car and luckily it was the only model with a airbag. She was run off the road at 100kmh into a massive tree. The importance of a air bag is what kept her here today. She still has another month before being able to walk again but she's still here... it's not worth pulling a airbag out people!!

I've removed tons of different steering wheels as an alignment technician, and watching this makes me feel like it's my first time 😂. That's just how detailed, new comer friendly and awesome Chris's vids are 👍🏽

The fact that I was obsessed with quick release wheels and how they can possibly stop car theft (perfect for where I live) and just a 2 minute talk about how you can have a custom wheel that is safe and how the quick release may look cool until your possibly in a wheel chair because you wanted to “look cool” really made me think. and for a bit I was thinking “but everyone dose it and is okay” but when I really thought about how my luck I could end up dead or paralyzed just because I thought it looked cool and was trendy and for some reason whenever I see one I get that thought of crashing or extreme anxiety and like a bad feeling from it, I still love the way they look and I come across some ones that have amazing designs but this short talk about the hazards that Chris did is burned into my head and I don’t even know how to thank him for that, even tho there’s the highs and lows of me getting in a crash if I’m driving completely safe im just glad that Chris brought the custom OEM wheels to light for me, i would damn well rather spend a few hundred more for a safe wheel then to even think about how my daughter or wife would feel or even get hurt all because I made a dumb decision to switch steering wheels all because “the designs look cool”. Anyway im sorry for pouring my heart out on a comment that should of stayed simple but I’m just thankful for Chris always helping me fix me car and stay safe😂🙏🏽
  • 19:53: Both steering wheels turn the car the same amount per-degree. Since with the larger wheel, your hands are further from the center, you have to move your hands a greater distance to turn said degrees. The only way the smaller steering wheel would turn the car more per-degre is if it somehow modifies the steering mechanism.

Whenever you see a new ChrisFix video, you're always reminded of why this guy is at the very top of his game. There is simply NOTHING on YouTube that comes close to this quality - he really is in a league of his own. You just CANNOT beat a ChrisFix video. 👍👍👍
  • @rpeetz
I like how Chris go the extra mile and include the footage of older videos to show what he is talking about instead of just leaving a link in the top corner of the video to watch the older videos. You can see the effort and dedication that goes into each video.
  • @yuh.nick04
I would love to see a video on how you got your stock steering wheels to look like that they look incredible!
  • @jdmcentre2759

Love the Videos Chris! Been a subscriber since 2014. I don't have the words to describe how helpful you are. I am going on 15 soon and I already helped my dad save almost $1000 on his 2004 Chevy Avalanche. I speak for all of us when I say, thank you for making all of our childhoods so much better. Thank you for making every single day more enjoyable.

The fact that Chris shows other examples of how things work on other cars to overcome any difficulties that those who will try might have just makes him amazing. This is a free "How to do everything to your car" channel. This guy deserves all the viewers and success he has if not more than that. Keep up the great work Chris. Love you.
