Chris you forgot to take off the brakes, those will just slow you down.
  • @Buy_My_Raptor
The clips didn’t break because they knew you weren’t reusing them.
  • That engine is probably like 500 pounds, imagine the weight reduction you could make!

Just a disclaimer for anyone who doesn’t know: DONT immediately go to remove an airbag after disconnecting a battery and thinking it’s disarmed. I’m sure you’ve mentioned it in previous videos but airbags are linked to capacitors that can store the circuit energy and keep the bag live. It’s always Good practice to wait 15 to 30 minutes after disconnecting the battery to let the capacitor dissipate the electricity elsewhere first.

On the next episode of Chris fix, how to put your wifes BMW back together.

Quick side note: the biggest reason your braking distance is garbo at the start is because you have bad tires. You can see they are fully locked and you are skidding. You can also hear wheel slip on your launches. Upgrading tires alone will significantly improve your performance
  • We really under appreciate how Chris lays everything out so nicely for like 40 seconds of talking. Like that’s 400 pounds of stuff you nicely place just to showcase its really awesome

I usually shave every hair on my body and race entirely naked for weight reduction purposes

I will probably never have to do any of the stuff you show, but you make it so accessible and entertaining to watch. I liked learning about the dry ice, and seeing the car get gutted. I'm curious about how much weight will be added back with the cage.

Weight reduction is basically telling a car “ u won’t be needing this “

It’s got to be so satisfying to pull all that plastic out of this car knowing you don’t have to put it back in. I bet that was fun
  • @hinext2510
I've done it myself, so I can feel the hardships, but it feels good to watch it in a simple and shortened way!
  • Thanks for the unintended E46 part guide. I use this video whenever I gotta fix a BMW problem

You can also remove the indicators, no one who drives a BMW uses them.😂😂
