Hello again BookTube! Thanks for stopping by my channel. I hope that Quiet Calm Books can provide you with a safe space to talk and think about the literature that you love.

I know it’s been WAY TOO LONG since I last posted (I said six months in the video, but it's been more like ten months...), but there’s a good reason… I moved back to New York City! I’m so happy to be back on BookTube and I have plenty of ideas for videos in the upcoming months, so be sure to check in regularly.

In this video, I take you on a book shopping adventure to SIX of my favorite book stores in NYC. Each one has a unique aesthetic and I love them all for different reasons. Come explore with me, and if you live in NYC yourself or plan to visit, don’t forget to check out these gorgeous bookish havens!

Quiet Calm Books is still a new channel! If you enjoyed this video or it helped you relax, please give it a like and subscribe to help my channel grow!

I’ve been trying to find someone who has peaceful blogs. Normally they either talk too much or too loud, but your voice is so soothing! You narrate everything perfectly. You just got a new follower!

I have always wanted to visit bookstores in NYC. Have you been to Books Of Wonder? 📚🗽

Do people living in New York City really call their hometown "NYC" because it sounds so strange. You really are a quiet, calm vlog narrator and, like others, I very much appreciate that. Thank you so much for this excellent look at NYC book stores. I've subscribed. Edited to add that I crave that Ruth Bader Ginsburg tote.

Beautiful video! I just love book shopping videos! I love that last bookstore, probably because they will have those rare editions probably out of print books. I could spend my time in that store for sure. I also love bookish items. It was a very organized video. Your voice was so pleasant to listen while I watch the video. It was great📚📚📚📚👏👏👏👏👏
  • I LOVE this video so much. THe aesthetic is just everything. However, you may have moved your camera a little bit too fast, for I couldn't watch till the end because the camera movement gave me such a headache. The video was lovely tho and this kind of videos always make me happy:) have a wondeful day.
  • "but you have to move even deeper into the book maze to get to them" I don't know why that sentence made me so happy, I just need to go to a bookstore right now!!!! westsider rare and used books was definitely my favorite

I just found your channel and I absolutely love it!!! This video is so calming and fulfilling (in Brazil the pandemic is still pretty much out of control, so it's been a while since I went to a bookstore) I wish you were more active on ig though
