it's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to.....(OK I'm one day late)

Well I did watch the movies and did go up on the dike to watch the fireworks, of course once up there I began crying. One of the new professor's to the university stopped and asked if I was ok, we've said hi and chit chatted before when seeing one another walking on the dike. I told him I was, and he asked why I was crying, so I did tell him and he consoled me, telling me he understands he lost his wife about a year ago. Of course since it was dark he didn't want me to walk home alone, I assured him I was fine besides I had Thomas's cane (now mine) with me. He laughed and said ok I'll see you next walk. It was bittersweet but I do know I have to make new "traditions".

I am so excited you are joining us in making the Mandala blanket ❤️I have already deviated just a little from the color pattern but so far I am mostly following the letter order, and I am lovinggg how it is coming out so far. It is going to be so cool to see how different all of our blankets come out! That is so cool that you can have them spiral bound it when they print it, I want to do that sometime! Thank you so much for the mention and your kind words ❤️❤️ For the 4th we ate some cookout food with family and then sat at home with the furbabies and comforted my one dog who has anxiety.

You are looking a lot better now, I know pain doesn’t show, I have fibromyalgia 🤪 hopefully your pain levels ease up and you can feel as good as you look 😉 I have been making lots for my first grandchild. He is four months old now and I am just loving being a granny. Going to start some Christmas gifts soon.
