I have an insatiable need to manhandle 10 kg of pure butter with my bare hands

There’s a nugget of management excellence in this video. Not just the delicious butter, but the manager said “I’ll shape for an hour, I’ll wrap for an hour… everyone rotates roles to keep the passion high about what we do”. This is gold. Humans become dull and bored when doing the same task all day, every day. Rotating stations and breaking up the day keeps everyone passionate about the product they produce. Team before self. 👏👏

I cant express enough not only how good this butter is, but just that its a whole other experience. Since having it, ive tried many high end butters from all over and none compare, Bordier truly is a giant step above the rest. I only wish I was able to find a place that could procure it for me here in Minnesota :(

As a Frenchman, I'm so proud of the work ethic behind our terroir products 😊
  • Just wow when he said the workers are constantly switching roles everyday!. That's brilliant idea. By doing so, the quality of what they're doing doesn't change.

Sad to hear Mr. Bordier retired. He was full of life and loved what he did! Glad to see his passion is still carried on in his shop.

as a Singaporean, this is my favorite butter brand and i am so happy to be able to see what goes on inside the factory! Thanks for all your hard work. We are so lucky to be able to enjoy Bordier butter in Singapore.

I buy this butter every week at my "fromager" here in Angoulême. It is truely amazing. Almost two times the price of normal butter but totaly worth it. Extraordinary butter.

This is mesmerizing to watch. Butter can be used for different purposes, whether it's for baking or cooking and so on. Seems like these factories know how to handle the whole process step by step.
  • Credits also to the staff and crew who made this video. The way they were able to relay the story, passion and emotion of the person really is admirable.

I can watch them shaping and packaging the butter all day, it so satisfying to watch.
  • The quality and attention to detail is without equal! My dad said that he would rather eat 1 pound of butter than a tablespoon of margerine, he laughed at the marketing of plant based "butter" and used butter daily. He lived to 96 years old. I think he was on to something! I should also mention that he was married to a woman 20 years younger than him (my Mum) .
