Thanks a lot for these videos my second fighting commander OCTA xbox broke in 1 year and a half so these videos are really useful!

Damn, never thought my standard Series S controller would be so praised! Will be picking up Street Fighter 6 soon so I'll give it a shot. Cheers.

finally a good video on controllers! how would you rate the 8bitdo Dpad in comparison to the others? i have wired c model here and it seems decent to me, about on par with ps4 controller propably, but i am searching for basically the ultimate xbox style pc pad thats great for modern games and for emulation alike.
  • I'm on pc and I am an old dude so my affinity is to arcade sticks - because it's what i grew up with - however, the only pad I could ever play with is the madcatz fightpad pro. I even ordered 2 new ones for when this one breaks lol

This video feels like an experience. Love the editing, voiceover, and choice of music. I also wanted to say; I have owned an Xbox Core controller for about 2 years, and I haven't played fighting games for very long, but when I do, I used analogue stick (Zangief player). I'm trying to transition away from that, but the D-Pad felt really weird and a little uncomfortable after a while. I bought a DualShock 4 to use for fighting games, but it just feels a lot smaller and harder for me to handle. Is it a case of getting used to it either way? And is the DualShock 4 outclassed nowadays?

I've just bought pro 2 (Xbox version) for MK11. D-pad is good, but needs more testing. XYAB are very good, clicky, tactile. But the best thing are L2/R2, they are just instant. I have xbox 1 gamepad and they are very slow (good for racing), but very annoying for fighting games.

Maybe I have huge thumbs...but I've always been able to press 1 to 4 of the face buttons with accuracy. So I don't need to lift my fingers for particular ABXY combinations, or I do quick slides for sequences.

Can you say something about the Razer Raion pad? I wanna buy but the missing pivot on the pad make some people hate it.
  • @SirrafuS
Which one would you recommend for MK11?

How are the sticks on the 8bitdo pro 2? I play platform fighters and traditional ones so id like a controller that has a good dpad and sticks so its good for both.

How are the triggers on the Xbox controller? I'm looking to upgrade from my Dualshock 3, and my main complaint is the triggers. Their position and orientation make it hard for me to get the explosive movements I need for FGs. I kinda wish i just had the same controller but with a second set of shoulder buttons in place of triggers.

Does the wired version of the 8bitdo pro 2 have input latency and dpad quality similar to the wireless version? I’m playing street fighter 6, and smash melee on pc, so I need a reliable controller. It’s cheaper so that’s the one I can afford lol.

Hi! Thanks for this very nice video! Do you know, is betop 6 bottoms gamepad works on xBox series s/x?
  • @arik2216
Logitech F310 isn't bad and it's need to be considered for a budget pad. It's quite durable and accurate for fighting game. one issue is its dpad is made of plastic not a rubber so if you are not used and play for long hours its dpad and grip design feels a bit rough for your sweaty thumb and palm grip.
  • @foxhoundra64fr
How do you rank the original madcatz fight pad from sfiv?
  • Lets give it up for MS.. They went from that trash dpad on the 360 to a semi usable dpad on the one to that work of art that is on the series controller.
  • @Tavarcio
is the gulikit kingkong 2 dpad good for something like tekken?
