glad to find one that isnt just a random spotify playlist of dark moody tracks and a few mitski songs

was not prepared for "insane in the brain" to fit Chainsaw Man so much holy shit

I can confirm that this is the only fan made playlist that has music that actually fits chainsaw man. All the other ones have slow emo songs about an ex or some shit

finally a anime playlist without mitski, "DADDY ISSUES" and random k-12 songs

this is such a weird thing to comment- but uh when i was 6 i lost my dad in a car accident and ever since i’ve been trying to find music that he used to play around me. he loved metal and everything hardcore. so anyways when Freak On A Leash came on it sounded way too familiar and the only person i knew who played music like that was my dad. so i asked my mom if it was familiar and told her it was by Korn and turns out he always played korn. he loooved korn. so your playlist accidentally helped me reconnect with my dad 😭

this is so weird to me--i've always imagined a playlist to go along with chainsaw man to be more punk/rock/alt 90s/00s songs or more work similar to the music in devilman crybaby or like what sewerslvt produces. i love this so much aaaaa,, it's weird seeing that i wasn't the only one with getting very specific music vibes from this manga :D oh! and i saw that the guy who did the music for dmcb is also doing the score for csm? kensuke ushio, if i remember their name right.

Finally some good rock music that fits that juvenile demonic chaotic and cocky theme of chainsawman. Not like the other playlists which is just sad emo or slowed depressive songs about love that was made by a 15 year old girl

radiohead's the national anthem came on during when the gun devil tried to kill makima during my reread of chainsaw man while listening to this playlist, and then listening to she wants revenge's tear you apart while the gun fiend appears was so heartbreaking but so so perfect. time it as tear you apart starts playing when denji opens the door and keep reading.

I'm scared to listen to any other playlists becuase I don't want to be disappointed, this has set the standards too high, I'll definitely be coming back to this one, you got some goodly taste in music 😭😭
